Recommended Paper 9 1 • When you use p aper in high humidit y under hot co nditi ons, take out only t he necessary amount of paper from the bag. Do not take all the paper out of the bag. Anti-h um id it y Heat er • When humidity is high, the paper in the paper roll tray may absorb moisture, which can effect th e image quality of your copies.

Make sure that the pa per feed in dicator li ghts up . B Select any copy settings you require, such as the media type or copy densi- ty.

27 3. Copy Settings Copying Onto Other Media To copy ont o translucent or tracing p aper or film, us e the { Copy Media } key to match the paper type refer to the f ollowing table. If you are not sure of what type of paper you have, check the label on the paper packa ge t o conf irm it.

Do's & Don'ts 73 5 Do's & Don'ts R CAUTION: • Do not touch areas on or around the fusing unit. These areas get hot. • After copies are made continuously, the exposure glass may feel warm. This is not a malfunction. • The area around the ventilation hole may feel warm.
