SBC Unified C ommunicat ions Lite – S ystem Requir ements Before s etting up your SBC Unified Communic ations (UC) Lite service , your computer needs to meet certain “system requir ements.” Syst em Requirements Computer T ype MAC’s are not curr ently supported.
Accessin g Your M ailbox From Y our Phone Number When you want to check your voic e mail, email, or fax mess ages fr om the telephone, simply call your access number and follow the prompts. If you are calling f rom your own phone number , the first time you call in: 1.
Using SBC Unified Co mmunications (UC) Lit e Upon accessing your UC L ite mailbox, you will be presented with sev eral optio ns of what to do. One option you have is to check for mess ages. Using the Phone to Check f or Message s Log in to your mailbo x.
To use the computer to change your F ast Login and PIN Skip options : 1. Log in to your UC Lit e mailbox. 2. Click the "T elephone" link on the left-hand side of the page. 3. Click "My Phone Numbers and Gr eetings.” 4. Click on the phone number for which you wan t to speed up telephone login.
To use the computer to creat e a distribution list: 1. Click on the "Address Book" link on the left-hand side of the p age. 2. Click the "Add Distribut ion List" button. 3. T ype a name for your list, such a s "Soccer Te am".

Email Notification Email notification w orks similar to the alphanumeric pager notif ication. For email notificat ion you can enter an email address other than your SBC Unified Communic ations email address to receive notif ication of new messag es in your mailbox.
Save to My C omputer When viewing any of your messag es, there is a "Sav e to My Computer" butto n near the bottom of the page. Click ing on this button lets you permane ntly sav e a copy of the mess age to your ow n computer . To permanently s ave a cop y of a messa ge to your computer: 1.
Alternat e ID (Secondary Phone Line) This fe ature allows a single mailbo x to answer calls f or different t elephone numbers. If y ou have two phone numbers in your home or two in your office, you can direct all your messa ges to a single mailbox to make retrieving messages easier.
