Service • T ool service must be perf ormed only b y qualified repair per sonnel. Ser vice or maintenance perf ormed by unqualified personnel could result in a r isk of injury . • When servicing a tool, use onl y identical replacement parts. Follow instructions in the Mainte- nance section of this manual.
Additional Safety Rules • Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cor d. Contact with a live wire will mak e the exposed metal parts of the tool “liv e” and shoc k the operator .
Switch FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION To star t tool, depress the trigger s witch, sho wn in Figure 1. T o stop tool, release the switch. The v ariable speed trig ger switch permits speed control. The far ther the trigger switch is depressed, the higher the speed of the tool.
