11 Positioning the microphone Relocating the microphone boom The microphone boom ca n be worn on either side of the mouth. 왘 Loosen the quick-fixing device.
12 For positioning the microphone of the HMD 120 headset, proceed as follows: 왘 Adjust the length of the microp hone boom so that the micropho ne is placed at the corner of the mouth. T o do so, loosen the q uick-fixing devi ce and adjust the microp hone boom in length.
13 Using the headsets Mono/Stereo selection (HME 100, HME 110) In general, you‘ll receive a mono sound source so that the Mono /Stereo switch can remain set to ‘Mono’.
14 Adjusting the microphone gain (not HMD 120) According to JTSO approval C58a, the microphone output volta ge is factory-preset to 400 mV/114 dB. If the microphone ou tput voltage is too hig h or too low fo r your in tercom system, it can be readjusted on the microphone.
