1 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE.
2 Silk’n SensEpil™ is a powerful de vice. As such, it should be used with special attention to safety . Please read all warnings and safety pr ecautions before use, and strictly follow them when using Silk’n SensEpil™! Note! Silk’n SensEpil™ may not be eff ective on naturally white and light hair .

4 1. Before You Start Before using Silk’n SensEpil™ for the first time , please read this User Manual in its entirety . Pay par ticular attention to sections on device use procedures, device operation, and after-use procedures. W e recommend you re-familiarize yourself with this User Manual before each use of Silk’n SensEpil™.
5 2. Silk’n SensEpil™ Intended Use 1.3. The Disposable Lamp Cartridge The Silk’n SensEpil™ DISPOSABLE LAMP CARTRIDGE can fire 750 light pulses (regardless of the energy level of these pulses). For average body size 750 light pulses could co ver for example: One treatment sessions of 2 Legs, 2 Arms, 2 Underar ms, and Bikini line.
6 T reating dar k skin with Silk’n SensEpil™ can result in adver se effects such as burns, blisters, and skin color changes (hyper - or hypo-pigmentation). A unique SKIN COLOR SENSOR is embedded in Silk’n SensEpil™ to measure the treated skin complexion at the beginning of each session and occasionally during the session.
7 Silk’n SensEpil™ can be used for the treatment of facial hair . Extra caution should be used on the face to avoid the eyes – never use Silk’n SensEpil™ around or near the eyes.

Precautions – How to use Silk’n SensEpil™ Safely Energy level refers to the intensity of the light pulse that is projected on your skin during use , from the lowest level (-) to the highest level (+). INDICAT OR LIGHTS on the CONTROL P ANEL illustr ate the energy level at which the machine is set.
9 As with any electrical device, certain precautions must be taken in order to ensure your safety when using Silk’n SensEpil™. Keep Silk’n SensEpil™ away from water! Silk’n SensEpil™ is an electrical device . As such it should always be kept away from water .
10 8. Possible Side Effects using Silk’n SensEpil™ When used according to the instructions, side eff ects and complications associated with use of Silk’n SensEpil™ are uncommon. Howev er ever y cosmetic procedure, including those designed for home use, involves some degree of risk.
11 Minor Skin Discomfort Although home pulsed light hair removal is generally ver y well-tolerated, most user s do feel some mild discomfor t during use, usually descr ibed as being a mild stinging sensation on the treated skin areas. The stinging sensation usually lasts during the time of the application itself or for a few minutes thereafter .
12 After Silk’n SensEpil™ Application During Silk’n SensEpil™ pulse 9. Long T erm Hair Removal the Silk’n SensEpil™ Way Silk’n SensEpil™ is a personal light-based device for long-ter m hair removal. The process of laser and light-based hair removal is well known and estab lished.
13 10. First steps with Silk’n SensEpil™ 10.1. Silk’n SensEpil™ Setup 1. Remove Silk’n SensEpil™ BASE UNIT , APPLICA TOR and other components from box. 2. V er ify that the DISPOSABLE LAMP CARTRIDGE is inser ted cor rectly into the APPLICAT OR .
14 Energy Level Energy level determines the intensity of the Silk’n SensEpil™ light pulse delivered to your skin, from the lowest level (-) to the highest level (+). Cor responding INDICAT OR LIGHTS on the CONTROL P ANEL represent the increases in ener gy .
15 T ry to avoid ov erlapping pulses! Do not treat the same area of skin mor e than once per hair removal session! The Skin Color Sensor Light-based hair removal on darker skin tones can result in adverse effects such as burns, blisters, and skin color changes (hyper - or hypo-pigmentation).
16 10.4. After treating with Silk’n SensEpil™ When Silk’n SensEpil™ session has been completed turn Silk’n SensEpil™ off by pressing the POWER ON/OFF SWITCH . (Be sure to remember the last energy level setting you used, as it will not be restored when turning Silk’n SensEpil™ on again.
17 T o replace a DISPOSABLE LAMP C ARTRIDGE : 1. Press the POWER ON/OFF SWITCH to turn Silk’n SensEpil™ off. 2. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. 3. Grasp the used DISPOSABLE LAMP CARTRIDGE on both sides, pull it out of the socket and discard with normal tr ash.
