The installation must conf orm to the requirements of the author ity having jurisdiction or , in the absence of such requirements, to the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1-latest edition. This installation must also conf orm to the additional requirements in this Slant/Fin Instruction Book.
A. Minimum boiler clearances shall be as f ollo ws: B. Pro vide accessibility clearance of 24” on sides requiring ser vicing and 18” on sides used for passage. C . All minimum clearances sho wn abo ve m ust be met. This may result in increased v alues of some minimum clearances in order to maintain the minimum clearances of others .

B. 1. This device must be installed after the boiler dr aft hood ( between the draft hood outlet and the connector to the out- door chimney or v ent) as close to the draft hood as pr acti- cable , and without modification of the draft hood or the v ent damper .
BOILER ROOM AIR SUPPL Y AND VENTILA TION An ample supply of air is required to obtain combustion and ventilation. ALL AIR COMES FROM OUTSIDE, directly through wall openings to the boiler or through unsealed openings around windows , doors, etc. in the whole building.

PIPING A HEA TING - COOLING SYSTEM T O A W A TER BOILER AND CHILLER The chiller must be piped in parallel with the boiler . Figure below illustrates a method of piping a heating-cooling system to a water boiler and a chiller .
