22 Instructions f or safety and use 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFETY AND USE THIS MANUAL IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE APPLIANCE. IT MUST BE KEPT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND IN AN ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR THE WHOLE WORKING LIFE OF THE OVEN. WE URGE YOU TO READ THIS MANUAL AND ALL THE INFORMATION IT CONTAINS CAREF ULLY BEFORE USING THE OVEN.
23 Instructions f or safety and use THE ID PLATE WITH TECHNICAL DATA, SERIAL NUMBER AND BRAND NAME IS POSITIONED VISIBLY ON THE SIDE OF THE OVEN. DO NOT REMOVE THIS PLATE FOR ANY REASON. THE APPLIANCE IS DESIGNED FOR PROF ESSIONAL USE BY TRAINED PERSONS .
24 Instructions f or safety and use THIS APPLIANCE IS MARKED ACCORDING TO THE EUROPEAN DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC ON WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT – (WEEE). THIS GUIDELINE IS THE FRAME OF A EUROPEAN-WIDE VALIDITY OF RETURN AND RECYCLING ON WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT.
25 Instructions f or the installer 2. O VEN INST ALLA TION The ov en must be installed on a free-standin g horizontal work top . The distance from the rear wall must allow easy access to the terminal board for connection of the power supply cable .
26 Instructions f or the installer W ARNING: if the phase voltage drops below 190 V AC , the performance of the oven ma y suffer , not due to the product itself. The power sock et located in the rear par t of the ov e n must be used only to supply the extraction hood.
27 Instructions f or the installer 2.1.2 Safety thermosta t The ov en is equipped with a safety device that tak es action in case of serious malfun ction.
28 Instructions f or the installer 2.4 Steam discha rge Depending on the model , there are two outlet pipes on the back of the ov en for releasing the steam produced dur ing cooking. Make sure the pipes are not obstr ucted and take care not obstruct them.
29 Instructions f or the User 3. DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS All the ov en controls are grouped tog ether on the side panel. STEAM DISCHARGE REGULA TION KNOB This two-position knob allows to eliminate dur ing cooking the steam th at is produced after cook ing food.
30 Instructions f or the User GREEN INDICA T OR LIGHT When off, it indicates the beginning of timed cooking. When on, it indicates that the timed cooking cycle has been completed. TIMER KNOB F or manual control of the co oking time, turn the knob counterclockwise to the symbol .
31 Instructions f or the User 4. USING THE O VEN 4.1 W arnings and general ad vice THE ALF A341 O VEN IS DESIGNED FOR A MAXIMUM LOAD OF 25 KG. THE ALF A241 O VEN IS DESIGNED FOR A MAXIMUM LOAD OF 12 KG.

33 Instructions f or the User 4.3.4 Tim ed cooking TIMER KNOB BETWEEN 5’ AND 60’ THERMOST A T KNOB BETWEEN 50° AND 250°C The ov e n heats up as signalled by the orange indicator light goin g on. Upon the set temperature being rea ched, the indicator light goes off.

Bef ore any inter vention, disconnec t the power supply of the o ven. 5.1 Cleaning stainl ess steel T o keep stainless steel in good condition it should be clean ed regular ly at the end of the day .
