User instructions 14 Before starting a washing pro gram make sure th at: • The water su pply tap is op en. • The correct amount of detergent has been added to the dispenser . • The baskets have been cor rectly loaded. • The spray arm s are able t o rotate freely an d without obstruct ion.
User instructions 15 TO SAVE ON ENER GY! … AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT • Always try to run the dishwasher fully loaded . • Do not wash the dishes in running water. • Use the washing program that is mo st appropriate for each type of load. • Do not carry out any prelim inary rinsing.
16 If it is nece ssary to open dishwasher d oor during the was hing cycle, there will b e a 1-minute delay before the pro gram can be resum ed. After correctly closing the d oor, the washi ng program wi ll start aga in from where it was interrupte d. This oper ation may neg atively aff ective the progress of th e washing c ycle.

Installation instructions 2. Installation and hook-up Remove th e polystyrene basket reta iners. Position the applian ce in the de sired place of installat ion. The bac k or sides o f the di shwasher may be place d up against w alls or oth er furniture units.
Installation instructions 2.1 Wa ter s upply conne ction Preventing the risk of clogging or damage: if the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long tim e, before connecting to the water supply check that the water is cl ear and free of impurities, to prevent damage to the appliance.

User instructions 3. Operating instructions Once the di shwasher ha s been correctly installe d, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the w ater softening system; • Add the regenera ting salt; • Add the rinse a id and deter gent.
User instructions • Do not use table salt as it contains i nsoluble substances whic h, over time, m ay damage the w ater softenin g system . • When neces sary, refill t he regenerati ng salt container befo re starting the washi ng program .
User instructions ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dishes dry faster and prevents the formatio n of scale deposits and staining; it is automat ically added to the water during the fin al rinse cyc le, from the cont ainer situated on t he inner si de of the door .
User instructions ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the de tergent disp enser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the detergent and close the cap carefully.

LOWER BASKET The low er basket receiv es the full fo rce of the l ower spray arm, an d should t herefore be used f or the “toughest” ite ms with a heavier degree of soiling.
CUTLERY BASKET The basket h as removab le top grid s into which items of cutlery can be inserted to keep the m properly spa ced and allow water to pass between them effectively . The cutlery supports and central lid are in the bag of The cutle ry should be arr anged in an orderly man ner inside t he basket, w ith the hand les pointing downw ards.
LOADING THE UPPER BASKET Load plat es facing forw ard; cups, bowls etc. must alw ays be facing downw ards. The left-hand side of the b asket can be loaded with two layers o f cups and glasses. T he centre can be filled w ith plates and side- plates, fitte d upright int o the support s provided.
ADJUSTING THE UPPER BASKET Version A: the upper basket ca n be adjust ed in two positions , according to the user’s nee ds and accord ing to the he ight of the dish es in the low er basket.
Version C: the top ba sket can be set in three different pos itions on both sides. T he rack m ust be level o n both side s. To raise t he basket lift it, pulling on t he front edge (1) , to the first or second catch depe nding on the hei ght required.

BEFORE STARTING THE DISHWASHER AFTER PROLO NGED DISUSE: • Check that ther e are no deposit s of sludg e or rust in side the water pipe: if there are, allow the w ater to run from the water supply tap for a few minut es. • Plug the power cor d back into t he socket.
If the dishes fail t o dry or remain dull, check that: • there is r inse aid insi de the special container; • the rinse aid dispenser setting is corr ect; • the deterg ent used is of good qua lity and ha s not lost its effectivene ss (for e xample, through incorrect stora ge, with the b ox left open).
