Safety instructions 6 DO NOT DRINK THE WATER RESIDUES WHICH MAY BE PRESENT INSIDE THE DISHES OR DISHWASHER AT THE END OF THE WASHI NG PROGRAM AND BEFORE THE DRYING CYCLE. KNIVES AND OTHER SHARP-POINTED KITCHEN UTENSILS MUST BE PLACED IN THE CUTLERY BASKET WITH THEIR TIPS FACING DOWNWARD.
Installation instructions 7 2. Inst allation and hook-up Remove the polystyrene basket retainers. Position the appliance in the desired place of installatio n. The back or sides of the dishwasher may be placed up against walls or other furniture units.
Installation instructions 8 2.1 Water supply connection Preventing the risk of clogging or damage: if the w ater pipe is new or has not been used for a long time, before connecti ng to the water supply check that the water is clear and free of impurities, to prevent damage to the appliance.

User instructions 11 3. Description of the controls 3.1 Upper panel All the dishwasher c ontrols are group ed on the up per panel. S witch-on, programming, switch-off etc. procedures are onl y possible when the door is open. 1 ON/OFF BUTTON Pressing this button energises the appliance.
User instructions 12 8 "3/1" OPTION BUTTON Press this button to activate the option for use of 3/1 products. 9 "3/1" OPTION LIGHT Illuminates to indicate that the function is activated. 10 PROGRAM DELAY BUTTON Press this button to delay the start of the program by up to 9 hours.
User instructions 13 After using the table to identify the most appr opriate washing program: x press the ON/OFF button (1) and wait for the PROGR AM INDICATOR LIGHT (2) to illuminate; x keep pressing.
User instructions 14 Only run the soak program with half loads. The 3/1 option (8) can be selected in all programs except the soak program. To execute programs 6,7,8,9,10 users must first press the extra programs button (6). (*) Reference program as per EN 50242 standard.

User instructions 16 CHANGING THE PROGRAM To change the progr am in progress, simply open the door and select a new program. When the door is closed the dishwasher will automaticall y select the new program.
User instructions 17 DELAYING THE PROGRAM (available in all programs except the soak program) The PROGRAM DELAY button (10) can be pressed to delay the start of the program by up to 9 hours . This means that the dish washer can be operated at the time of day of your choic e.
User instructions 18 ADJUSTING THE WATER SOFTENING SYSTEM N.B.: for the setting belo w to be possible, a washing program other than the soak program must be set. Press the PROGRAM DELA Y button (10) and keep it pressed until th e preset value appears follo wed by a full stop (normally 3.
User instructions 19 If the door has to be opened while w ashing is in pr ogress, the progr am will be interrupted. The relativ e light will keep flashi ng and a beeper wil l signal that the cycle has not been compl eted. When the door is closed the program will c ontinue from where it was interrupted.
User instructions 20 4. Operating instructions Once the dishwasher has b een correctly installed, pr epare for use as follows: x Adjust the water softening system; x Add the regen erating salt; x Add the rins e aid and detergent.
User instructions 21 x Do not use table salt as it contains insoluble substanc es which, over time, may damage the water softening system. x When necessary, refill the r egenerating salt container before starting the washing program .
User instructions 22 ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the d ishes dry faster and prevents the formation of scale deposits and staini ng; it is automaticall y added to the water during the final rinse cycle, from the container situated on the inner side of the door.
User instructions 23 ADDING THE DETERGENT After adding the detergent, to close th e lid slide it in the dir ection shown by the arrow as far as it will go then press gently to lock. During washing, the dispenser will be opened automatically. x Use only det ergents specially formulated for dis hwashers.
User instructions 24 x "3/1" Products If you wish to use detergents which already contain salt and rinse aid, check whether your dishwasher is fitted with the " 3 /1 opti on button " on the " Controls description " page and t hen refer to the section which explains how to use this funct ion.
User instructions 25 WARNING! x Make sure that the dishes are securely in pla ce so that they cannot tip over or obstruct the rotation of the spray arms duri ng the washing cycle. x Do not place very small obj ects in the baskets as these coul d fall and obstruct the spray arms or the wash pump.
User instructions 26 4.4 Using the baskets The dishwasher has a capacity of 7 place-settings , includi ng serving dishes. CAUTION: do not place items in positions where they prevent t he detergent dispenser hatch from opening properly.

User instructions 28 5. Cleaning and maintenance Before carrying out any work, always disconnect the appliance from the electrical power supply. 5.1 General warnings and recommendations Avoid the use of acidic or abrasive detergents.

Wash it i n a jet of water and fit it into place correctly, checking that there are no impediments of any kind prev enting it from turning freely. T roubleshooting The dishwasher is capable of signalling a n umber of faults through the simultaneous illumination of several indicator lights, with the following meanings: FAU LT DESCRIPT ION E3 Water heating malfunction The water is not heated or the heating parameters are not correct.
User instructions 33 If an alarm occurs the appliance interrupts the program in progress and signals a fault. x Alarms E3 , E4 and E9 interrupt the current program immediately. x The E5 , E6 alarms interrupts the running program once the cause is resolved, it will bring bach the ex ecution of the program.
