Installation instructions 2. Installation and hook-up Remove th e polystyrene bas ket retainers. Position t he appliance in the desired p l ace of installation. T he back or sides o f the dishw asher may be pla ced up agains t walls or other furniture u nits.
Installation instructions 2.1 Water supply co nnection Preventing the risk of clogging or damage: if the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long tim e, before connecting to the water supply check that the water is cl ear and free of impurities, to prevent damage to the appliance.

User instructions 3. Operating instructions Once the di shwasher has be en correctly installe d, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the w ater softening sy stem; • Add the regenera ting salt; • Add the rinse a id and detergent.
User instructions • Do not use table salt as it contains inso luble substan c es w hich, over time, m ay damage the wa ter softening syst em. • When neces sary, refill the regen erating salt container bef ore starting the washi ng program .
User instructions ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dis hes dry faster and prevents the formatio n of scale deposits and staining; it is automat ically added to the water during the fin al rinse cycle, fr om the container situated on t he inner side of the door.
User instructions ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the de tergent dispen ser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the detergent and clos e the cap carefully.

User instructions Items which are not dishwasher-safe: • Wooden dishe s, pots or pans: t hese may be d amaged by the high wash ing temperatures. • Handcrafted items: these are rarely s uitable for washing in a dishwash er. The relativel y high water tem peratures and the detergents us ed may damage th em.
User instructions 3.4 Using the b askets The dishw asher has a capacity of 12 pl ace-se tti ngs , including s erving dishes. User instructions LOWER BASKET The low er basket receive s the fu ll force of the low er spray arm, and should theref ore be used for the “toughest” ite ms with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructions CUTLERY BASKET The cutler y should be arranged in an orderly manner inside the bas ket, with the ha ndles pointing dow nwards. Take c are during loadin g to avoid injury from t he knife blades. T he bask et is suitabl e for all types of cutlery , except those long e nough to int erfere with the upper spray arm.
User instructions UPPER BASKET It is recom mended to load t he upper basket w ith small- or medium-sized items s uch as glas ses, small plate s, tea or coffee cups, shallow bow ls and light objects made from heat re sistant plast ic.
User instructions LOADING THE UPPER BASKET Load plates f acing forw ard; cups, bowls etc. mus t always be facing downw ards. The left-hand sid e of the basket can be loaded with tw o layers o f cups and gla sses. The centre can be filled w ith plates and s ide- plates, fitte d upright into th e supports provided .
User instructions ADJUSTING THE UPPER BASKET The upper bas ket can be adjust ed in two positions , acco rdin g to th e user’s need s and accordin g to the height o f the dishes in the lower basket.
