User instructions PROGRAMMING In this mode l of dishw asher, all progr amming proce dures can only be carried ou t with the door closed. As lo ng as the door i s open, the PROGRAMS lights (7) and PHASES/PROGRAM lights (10) will remain off. SELECTION PROGRAM The progra m selection i s possible through the rel ative buttons (2) .

User instructions ANNULLING A PROG RAM To annul the pr ogram in pro gress, it must first be interrup ted (see “ I NTERRUPTION OF A PROGRAM ”). Now press bu ttons P1 + P2 simultaneou sly and the first t hree program lig hts will co me on.

4. Operating instructions Once the di shwasher ha s been correctly insta lled, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the w ater softening system; • Add the regenera ting salt; • Add the rinse a id and deter gent.
• Do not use table salt as it contains i nsoluble substances w hich, over time, m ay damage the w ater softenin g system. • When neces sary, refill the r egenerating salt conta iner befo re starting the washi ng program .

ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dishes dry faster and prevents the formatio n of scale depos its and staining; it is automat ically added to the water during the fin al rinse cyc le, from the cont ainer situated on t he inner si de of the door .
ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the de tergent disp enser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the detergent and close the cap carefully. During t he washing cycle, the di spenser will be opened autom atically.
• The market off ers liquid and powder det ergents with differ ing chemical compositions , which may co ntain phosphat es , or be phosphate-free but contai n natural enzymes . - Detergents containing phos phates are more ef fective agains t grease and st arch at temper atures above 60°C .
4.3 General warnings and recommendations Before usi ng the dishwasher for the f irst time, it i s advisable to read the following r ecommendatio ns concern ing dish types to be w ashed and their loa ding .
Items which are not dishwasher-safe: • Wooden dishe s, pots or p ans: these m ay be damaged by the high wash ing temperatures . • Handcrafted items: these are r arely suitable for washi ng in a dishwash er. The relati vely high w ater temperatures and the detergents us ed may damag e them.
4.4 Using th e baskets The dishwasher ha s a capacity of 14 plac e-se tti ngs , in cluding serv ing dishes. LOWER BASKET The low er basket receiv es the full fo rce of the low er spray arm, an d should t herefore be used f or the “toughest” items w ith a heavier degree of soiling.
CUTLERY BASKET The cutle ry should be arr anged in an orderly manner inside the bas ket, with the ha ndles pointing downw ards. Take care during loadin g to avoid injury from t he knife blade s. The basket is suitabl e for all types of cutlery, except those long e nough to int erfere with the upper spray arm.
UPPER BASKET It is rec ommended to lo ad the upper basket w ith small- or medium-si zed items s uch as gl asses, smal l plates, tea or coffee cup s, shallow bow ls and light object s made fro m heat resistant plastic.
ADJUSTING THE UPPER BASKET The upper bas ket can be adj usted in two positions , a ccording to t he user’s need s and accor ding to the height of the di shes in the lower basket. Proceed as fo llows: • pull out the b asket to it s limit posi tion and pull the right side upwards.

BEFORE STARTING THE DISHWASHER AFTER PROLO NGED DISUSE: • Check that ther e are no deposit s of sludge or r ust inside the water pipe: if there are, allow the w ater to run from the water supply tap for a few minut es. • Plug the power cor d back into t he socket.
If the dishes fail t o dry or remain dull, check that: • there is r inse aid insi de the special container; • the rinse aid dispenser setting is corr ect; • the deterg ent used is of good qua lity and has n ot lost its effectivene ss (for e xample, through incorrect stora ge, with the b ox left open).
