Installation instructions 2. Installation and hook-up Remove th e polystyrene basket retainer s. Position the appl iance in the desired place of insta llation. The back or sides of t he dishw asher may be placed u p again st walls or other f urniture units.
Installation instructions CONNECTING TO THE WATER SUPPLY Connect th e intake hose t o a cold w ater supply w ith ¾” gas threa d, inserting the filter A supp lied with the dishwash er. Ta ke care to screw the hose firmly into place with y our hands and then c omplete by tightening about ¼ of a turn with plier s.

User instructions SETTING THE WASHING PROGRAM To sele ct the most suitab le washing pr ogram, refer to the table below which indicates the rec ommended w ashing accordi ng to dish type and the degree of soiling.

User instructions CHANGING THE PROGR AM To chang e the program in progress the dishw asher must be switched off by pressing the ON/OF F key (2) . Turn the program se lector to the pro gram required and then switch the dishwash er on again by pressin g ON/ OFF key (2) .
User instructions If it is nece ssary to open dishwasher d oor during the was hing cycle, there will b e a 1-minute delay before the pro gram can be resum ed. After correctly closing the d oor, the washi ng program wi ll start again from where it was interrupte d.

User instructions ADJUSTING THE RINSE AID DISPENSER SETTING The dishw asher is factory set for medium w ater hardne ss. How ever it possible to change the setting by turning the di spenser’s sel ector to the desired p osition: the a mount of rinse aid disp ensed is proportio nal to the selector position.
User instructions • The market off ers liquid and powder det ergents with differ ing chemical compositions , which may co ntain phosphat es , or be phosphate-free but contai n natural enzymes . - Detergents containing phos phates are more ef fective agains t grease and st arch at temper atures above 60°C .
User instructions 4.2 General warnings and recommendations Before usi ng the dishwasher for the f irst time, it i s advisable to read the following r ecommendatio ns concern ing dish types to be washed an d their loa ding .
User instructions Items which are not dishwasher-s afe: • Wooden dishe s, pots or p ans: these m ay be damaged by the high wash ing temperatures . • Handcrafted item s: these are rarel y suitable for wa shing in a dishwash er. The relati vely high w ater temperatures and the detergent s used may damag e them.
User instructions 4.3 Using t he basket s The dishwasher ha s a capacity of 12 plac e- sett in gs , inclu ding serv ing dishes. LOWER BASKET The low er basket receiv es the full fo rce of the low er spray arm, an d should theref ore be used f or the “toughest” items with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructions CUTLERY BASKET The cutler y should be arr anged in an orderly manner inside the bas ket, with the ha ndles pointing downw ards. Take care during loadin g to avoid injury from t he knife blade s. The basket i s suitable for all types of cutl ery, except those long e nough to int erfere with the upper spray arm.
User instructions LOADING THE UPPER BASKET Load t he dishes w ith the top side fa cing forwards; cups and concave container s should alw ays be loade d with the openin g facing down. The left side of t he basket can be loaded w ith cups an d glasses on two levels.
User instructions 5. Cleaning and maintenance Before carrying out any w ork, always disconne ct the appliance from the electrical pow er supply.

User instructions BEFORE STARTING THE DISHWASHER AFTER PROLO NGED DISUSE: • Check that ther e are no deposit s of sludg e or rust inside the water pipe: if there are, allow the w ater to run from the water supply tap for a few minut es. • Plug the power cor d back into t he socket.
User instructions If the dishes fail t o dry or remain dull, check that: • there is r inse aid insi de the special container; • the rinse aid dispenser setting is corr ect; • the deterg ent used is of good qua lity and ha s not lost its effectivene ss (for e xample, through incorrect stora ge, with the b ox left open).
