GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 11 FUNCTION-SWITCH ON KNOB This knob al l ows access to t he oven's three operating setti ngs, and is also used t o sel ect a cooking f unction (see p oint “7.2 O perating settings”). From now on, for convenience it will be referred to as PT2.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 12 7 USING THE OVEN 7.1 Precautions and Gen e ral Advice When t he oven and grill are used for the first time, they should be heated to the maximum temperature for long enough t o b urn off any oily resi dues left by the m anufacturing process, which might contaminate foods wi t h unpleasant smells.

GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 14 The defrosting time will be calculated based on th e food’s type and w eight and the micro waves power will be automat ically varied to achieve th e best thawing results.

When defrosting, use on ly dishes that are ap propriate for microwaves (china, glass, suitable plastic). 2. The defrost function by weight and t he tables r efer to the defrosting of raw food.

GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 22 9.3 Using the browning p late Normally when coo kin g food, s uch a s pizzas or pies, on a grill o r i n a microwave o v en, the dough or pastry becomes sogg y .
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 23 9.4 Cooking with the Gr ill Element For good results with the grill, use the rack supplied with the oven. Fit t he r ack i n such a way that it doesn’t come into contact with the m etal surfaces of the oven cavity since if it d oes there is a danger of electric arcing which may damage the oven.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 24 After hal f th e grilling time has passed, check on how the cooking is going and, if necessary, turn the food over. The gri ll is especially s uitable for cooking thin portions of meat and fish . Thin portions of meat only need to be turned onc e, but thicker portions should be turned several times.

This will stop excessive evaporation (mainly during very long co oking times); 2.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 27 10 CL E ANING AND MAINTENANCE Before carrying out any operations, disconnect the a ppliance from the electricity s upply. Take the plug out of th e socket or switch off the oven’s power circuit. Warning! Never use a jet of steam for cleaning the inside of the oven.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 28 To remove dir t that i s harder t o shift, u se a n on-aggressive cleaning product. Do n ot use oven spr ays or oth er aggressive or abrasive cleaning products. Always kee p t he door an d t he oven front very clean to ensure that th e door opens and closes properly.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 29 11 EXTRAORDINA RY MAINTENANCE Occasionally, the oven wil l require m i nor se rvicing procedures or the replacement of parts subject to wear and tear, such as g askets, l i ght bulbs, etc. The specific operations for each procedure of this kind are provided below.
