22 1. THE NEW WA SHING SYSTEM This new washing machin e is the outcome of years of research. The leading-edge design and the quality of the p roduction processes used to manufacture this p roduct ensure it will give you many years of excellent servi ce.
23 2. S A FETY WAR NINGS Attention! These w arnings are given for safety reasons. Please read them caref ully before installing and using the appliance. This manual form s an int egral part of the app liance and m ust therefore be kept intac t tog ether with the machine.
24 Do no t wash petr ol-soaked garments in the washing machine. Make s ure ther e are no inflammable items ( e.g.: lighters, m atches, etc.) in pock ets befor e washing. If volatile flu ids have been used to c lean garm ents, mak e sure that the su bstances have been rem oved before load ing them in the washing m achine.

27 Attention! • If the water pi pe is new or has not been us ed for a long ti me, let a certain amo unt of water run bef ore attach- ing the i nlet hose . This stops any de posits of sand and other impurities fro m clogging the filters u sed by the machine to protect the water inle t valves.

30 E Options buttons The options that ma y be available on the washing ma chine are shown be low. Quick wash Button This button reduces the overall duration of the washing cycle. This option is used to wash small loads or less dirty washi ng in le ss time.

32 5. USING THE MACH INE 5.1 PREPAR ING THE WASHING 3. Separate the washing acco rding to the type and colourfastness of the fabrics. 4. W ash whites and coloureds separately. 34 5.6 DOSING POWDER DETERGENT S Normally dirty washing 1. Choose a programme without prewash. 2. Pour the total quantity of dete rgent indicated on the packs into compartment “2” of the detergent tray. Ver y dirty washin g 1. Choose a programme with prewash.
35 To switch on the machine and select programmes, proceed as follows: 1. Turn the programme knob in ei ther direction . The m achine switches on and the “Start” programme phase LED lights up.

CLEANING A ND M A INTENANCE Important – Before cleaning or servicing the machine, remove the plug from the socket. 6.1 EXTERNA L CLEANING • Regular and constant cleani ng w ill k eep your appliance looking like new. • Clean the outer surfaces with soap an d water and then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
38 4. Pull out the drain hose “A”. Attention: if the hose is hot it mea ns th e water i s hot or boiling. Place a tray on the floor and remo ve the plug “B” to drain the water. Depending on the quantity of water, it may be n ecessary to empty t he tray several times.
39 7. TROUBLESHOOT ING This produc t com plies with current safety reg ulations governing electrical equip ment. For safety reasons, a ll tech- nical inspections or repairs must be performed by q ualified technicians i n order to preven t hazardous situations for users.
40 11 The machine does not spin The unbalanced load sensor has triggered because the washing is not uniformly distributed inside the drum. If the washing is wet at the end of the cycle, distribute it well i nside the basket and repeat just the spin cycle.
