Safety instructions 2 1. Safety and operating instructions THIS MANUAL FORMS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE APPLIANCE: IT MUST ALWAYS BE KEPT INTACT TOGETHER WITH THE DISHWASHER. BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE, CAREFULL Y READ ALL THE INSTRU CTIONS CONTAINED IN THIS MANUAL.
Safety instructions 3 OBSOLETE APPLIANCES MUST BE RENDERED UNUSABLE. CUT OFF THE MAINS POWER CORD AFTER UNPLU GGING IT FROM THE WALL OUTLE T, AND MAKE SAFE ANY COMPONENTS WHICH MIGHT BE DANGEROUS FOR CHILDREN (LOCKS, DOORS, ETC.
Safety instructions 4 LEANING OR SITTING ON THE DISHWASHER DOOR WHEN OPEN MAY CAUSE THE APPLIANCE TO OVERTURN, PUTING PEOPLE AT RISK. NEVER LEAVE THE DISHW ASHER DOOR OPEN; PEOPLE MIGHT TRIP OVER IT. KNIVES OR OTHER SHARP-ENDED CO OKING UTENSILS MUST BE PLACED IN THE CUTLERY BASKET BLADE-DOWN, OR LAID HORIZONTAL IN THE TOP BASKET.
Installation instructions 5 2. Installation and hook-up Remove the polystyrene bask et retainers. Position the appliance in the desired place of installation. The back or sides of the dish washer may be placed up agai nst walls or oth er furniture units.
Installation instructions 6 CONNECTING TO THE WATER SUPPLY Connect the intake hose to a cold water suppl y with ¾” gas thread, inserting the filter A supplied with the dishwasher. Take care to screw the hose firmly into place with your h ands and then co mplete by tightening about ¼ of a turn with plier s.
Installation instructions 7 2.2 Electrical connection and precaution s CHECK THAT THE VOLTAGE AND THE FREQUE NCY OF THE MAINS MATCH THE RATINGS ON THE NAME PLATE OF THE APPLIANCE POSITIONED ON THE INNER EDGE OF THE DOOR. THE PLUG ON THE SUPPLY CORD AND THE CORRESPOND ING SOCKET OUTLET MUST BE OF THE SAME TYPE AND MEET THE REGULATIONS IN FORCE.

User instructions 9 3. Description of the controls 3.1 Upper panel All the dishwasher controls are grouped on the upper panel. Switch-on, programming, switch-off, etc. procedures are only possible w hen the door is open. The panel shown is o nly a guideline exam ple: the form of the lights and buttons may vary depending o n the model.

It is not possible to select any options when the soak pro gram is being used.

User instructions 16 3.2 Washing programs Before starting a wash ing program make su re that: • The water supply tap is open . • The softener container contains regener ating salt . • The correct amount of dete rgent has been added to the dispenser .
User instructions 17 "Flexi Tabs" The option is optimised for use of det ergents which are complete with salt and rinse aid, known on the market as "3 in 1", "triple action", etc.
User instructions 18 PROGRAM DELAY The start of the program can be dela yed by 3, 6 or 9 hours. This allows yo u to set the dishwasher to work at the times of day most convenient to you. After setting the program , press the button to select the delay yo u require; the correspo nding light will come on.

User instructions 20 4. Operating instructions Once the dishwash er has been correctly i nstalled, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the water softening system; • Add the regeneratin g salt; • Add the rinse aid and deterge nt.
User instructions 21 • Do not use table salt as it contains insoluble substanc es which, over time, may damage the water softening system. • When necessary, refill the regenerating salt container before starting the washing pr ogram .

User instructions 23 ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid he lps the dishes dry faster and prevents the formation of scale deposits and staining; it is automatically add ed to the water during the final rinse c ycle, from the container situated on the inner side of the door.
User instructions 24 ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the detergent dispe nser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the detergent an d close the cap carefully.
User instructions 25 The introductio n of detergent into th e rinse aid dispenser, even in liquid form, will damage the dishwasher. 4.3 General warnings and recommendations Before using the dishw asher for the first time, it is advis able to read the following recomme ndations concer ning dish types to b e washed an d their loading.
User instructions 26 WARNING! • Make sure that the dis hes are securely in pla ce so that they cannot tip over or obstruct the rotation of the spray arms duri ng the washing cycle. • Do not place very small o bjects in the baskets as these c ould fall and obstruct the spray arms or the wash pump.
User instructions 27 4.4 Using the baskets The dishwasher has a ca pacity of 10 place-settings , inc luding serving dishes. LOWER BASKET The lower basket receives the full force o f the lower spray arm, and should therefore be use d for the “t oughest” items with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructions 28 CUTLERY BASKET The cutlery should be arrang ed in an orderly manner insid e the basket, with the handles pointin g downwards. Take care during l oading to avoid injury from the knife blades. T he basket is suitable for all t ypes of cutlery, except those l ong enough to interfer e with the up per spray arm.
User instructions 29 LOADING THE UPPER BASKET Load plates facing for ward; cups, bowls etc. must al ways be facing downwards. The left-hand si de of the basket can be loade d with two layers of cups an d glasses. On the rig ht plates and s aucers can be slotted verticalli into the forks.
User instructions 30 5. Cleaning and maintenance Before carrying out any work, always unplug the appliance from the electrical s upply or switch off the all-pol e disconnect ion device. 5.1 General warnings and recommendations Avoid the use of acidic or abrasi ve detergents.
User instructions 31 CLEANING THE SPRAY ARM, TRAVELLING VERSION To remove the TRAVELLING spray arm, take hol d of it and raise it to release both the spray arm and the pipe from the tank, then detach the spray arm from the p ipe.
