General instructions 4 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE This manual is an integral par t of the appliance. It must be kept in its entirety and in an accessible place f or the whole working life of the appliance. W e recommend reading this manual and all the inf or mation it contains carefully before using the appliance.
General instructions 5 The appliance becomes v er y hot dur ing use. Suitable heat-proof glov es should be worn for all operations . Do not use the hob if p yrolysis (where present) is taking place inside the oven. If you intend to go awa y f or a prolonged per iod of time, close the mains gas tap or the gas cylinder tap.

10 Instructions f or the user 4.1 Description of the controls on the front panel 4.1.1 T emperature selection knob The cooking temperature is selected by tur ning the knob clockwise to the desired setting, between 50° and 280°C . When the knob is tur ned, the light star ts flashing to signal the oven is preheating.

12 Instructions f or the user 5.2 Using the support rack The suppor t rack is inser ted into the tra y (as shown in the figure). Using this, foods can be cooked and the f at can be collected separately from the f ood which is being cooked.
13 Instructions f or the user 6. USING THE COOKING HOB 6.1 General warnings and advice Bef ore lighting the hob burners, make sure that the flame-spreader crowns are correctly positioned in their housings with their respective burner caps.

16 Instructions f or the user 7.6 General warnings and advice for use All cooking operations must be carried out with the door closed. The dissipation of heat may cause hazards. During cooking, do not cov er the bottom of the oven with aluminium or tin foil and do not place pans or ov en trays on it as this ma y damage the enamel coating.

20 Instructions f or the user CIRCULAR: The combination of the f an and the circular element (incor porated in the rear of the ov en) allows to cook diff erent foods on sev eral le vels, as long as they need the same temperatures and cooking time. Hot air circulation ensures instant and uniform distribution of heat.

23 Instructions f or the user 9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Do not use steam jets for cleaning the appliance . The steam could reach the electronics, damaging them and causing short-circuits. CA UTION: For your safety , you are advised to wear protective gloves while performing any cleaning or extraordinary maintenance.
24 Instructions f or the user 9.4.2 P an stands Remov e the pan stands and clean them with luke warm water and non-abrasiv e detergent, making sure to remov e any encrustations.

26 Instructions f or the user 9.6 Pyr olysis: automatic oven cleaning Pyrolysis is an automatic high-temperature cleaning procedure which causes dir t to dissolve . Thanks to this process, it is possible to clean the inside of the ov en with great ease.

28 Instructions f or the user 10. EXTRA ORDINAR Y MAINTENANCE The oven requires per iodic minor maintenance or replacement of par ts subject to wear , such as gaskets, light bulbs , etc. Specific instr uctions f or each operation of this kind are giv en below .
29 Instructions f or the user 10.3 Removing the door seal (not on pyrolitic models) T o per mit thorough cleaning of the ov en, the door seal may be remov ed. There are fasteners on all four sides to attach it to the edge of the ov en. Pull the edges of the seal outwards to detach the f asteners.
30 Instructions f or the installer 11. INST ALLA TION 11.1 Installing in kitchen units V eneers, adhesives or plastic coatings on adjacent fur niture should be temperature-resistant (no less than 90°C). If they are not sufficiently temperature-resistant, they ma y warp over time.
31 Instructions f or the installer 11.2 Room ventilation and combustion extraction The room containing the appliance should be per manently ventilated in accordance with the standards in f orce.
32 Instructions f or the installer 11.3 W all mounting brackets (where present) The fastening system provided must be installed to ensure the appliance is stable . 33 Instructions f or the installer 11.4 Gas connection At the end of the installation, chec k for any leaks with a soapy solution, never with a flame .
34 Instructions f or the installer Connect to the appliance using a BS 669 compliant ba yonet hose. The connector , at the back of the appliance, has a 1/2” BSP e xter nal thread. Apply insulating material to the thread of the gas pipe connector 4 and then tighten the adapter 3 to it as indicated in the figure.
35 Instructions f or the installer 11.5 Electrical connection Make sure the v oltage and the cross-section of the pow er supply line match the specifications indicated on the identification plate positioned on the appliance. Do not remove this plate f or any reason.
