General instructions 4 1. INSTR UCTIONS FOR USE This manual is an integral par t of the ap pliance. It mu st be kept in its entirety an d in an accessible place f or the whole w orking life of the appliance . W e recommend r eading this manual an d all the inf ormation it contains carefully b ef ore using the appliance .
General instructions 5 The appliance becomes v er y hot during use. Suitab le heat-proof glo ves should be worn for all operations . Do not use the hob if p yrolysis (where present) is taking place inside the ov en. If you intend to g o aw a y for a prolonged per iod of time, close the mains gas tap or the gas cylinde r tap.

21 Instructions f or the user 9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Do not use steam jet s for clea ning the applianc e. The steam could reach th e electr onics, damaging the m and causing short-cir cuits. CA UTION: For y our safety , you are advised to wear pr otective glo ves while performin g any cle aning or extraor dinar y maintenance.
22 Instructions f or the user 9.4.2 P an stands Remove the pan stan ds and clean them with luke war m water and non -abrasive detergent, making sure to remo v e any encrustations .

24 Instructions f or the user 10. EXTRA ORDINAR Y MAINTENANCE The o v en requires periodic minor maintenance or repl acement of parts subject to wear , such as gaskets , light b ulbs, etc. Specific instructions f or each operation of this kind are giv en belo w .
25 Instructions f or the user 10.3 Removing the door Open the door co mpletely . Inser t a pin into the ho le in the hinge. Repeat f or both hinges. Grasp the do or on both sides with both hands, lift it f orming an angle of around 3 0° and remov e it.
26 Instructions f or the user 10.5 Remo ving the internal glass panels The glass in the door should alwa ys be kept thoroughly clean. T o f a cilitate cleaning, it is possible to remov e the door (see 10.3 Remo ving the door) and place it on a can v as, or open it and lock th e hinges in order to e xtract the glass panels .
27 Instructions f or the installer 11. INST ALLA TION 11.1 Installing in kitchen units V eneers, adhesiv es or plastic coatings on adjacent fur niture should be temper ature-resist ant (no less than 90°C). If they are not sufficie ntly temperature-r esistant, they may w ar p over time.
28 Instructions f or the installer 11.2 Room ventilation and combustion e xtraction The room co ntaining the appliance should b e permanently ventil ated in accord ance with the st andards in f orce .
