11 GB Getting Started This section describes how to operate the subwoofer, Sound Bar, and connected equipment using the remote control supplie d. If yo u cannot operate the connected equipment, use the remote control of the equipment. Point the remote co ntrol towards the remote control sensor ( ) of the Sound Bar.

14 GB When connected via the OPTICAL IN jack, select “OPTICAL.” When connected via the ANALOG IN jack, sele ct “AN ALOG.” Even if the system is tur ned off (active st andby mode), the HDMI si gnal will be sent from the connected equipmen t to the TV via the HD MI connection.
15 GB Getting Started Positioning the system The illustrations below are examples of how to install th e Sound Bar. Take following precautions when in stalling the Sou n d Bar and the sub woofer. Do not block the ventilation ho les on the rear panel.
16 GB When the Sound Bar is to be placed tilting upward or on a wall, remove the 2 stands at the bottom of the Sound Bar, as shown below. You can install th e Sound Bar on the wall. Use screws that are su ita ble for the wall materi al and st rength.
17 GB Getting Started 3 Hang the Sound Bar onto the screws. Align the holes on the back of the Sound Bar to the screws, then hang the Sound Bar on to the 2s c r e w s . Setting up the Wireless System The Sound Bar transmits s ound from the equipment to the subwoofer by wireless communication.
18 GB Operating the system using the supplied remote control 1 Turn on the system . 2 Press to displ ay the input source on the front panel display of th e Sound Bar. 3 Adjust the vol ume by pressing +/ . The sound may be output from the TV’s speaker.
19 GB Operations and Features When you play the equipment connected to the system with an HDMI cable, the connected TV is turned on automatically and th e input signal of the system is switched to the appropriate HDMI input. For example, set your TV as follows to use the Control for HDMI functio n: Set the HDMI link se tting to on.
20 GB Using the BLUETOOTH function If the system is not paired with any equipment, you must pair the system with the equipment to be connected. Select “BT AU” with the +/ buttons on the remote contro l to enter pairing mode. 1 Place the system and a BLUETOOTH device within 1m e t e r .
21 GB BLUETOOTH Function Sound may be interrupted because of a problem with the BLUETOOTH device. Once a pairing operat ion is performed, it does not have to be performed again. However, you must repeat pairing in the cases listed below. Pairing information is deleted by repairing the system.
22 GB You can adjust the volume of the system via a BLUETOOTH device supporting the volume command of AVRCP (Audio Video Remo te Control Profile). You can set how this system operates when th e volume is adjusted via the BLUETOOT H device with “BT.
23 GB Surround Function Enjoying the surround effect This system can create multi-channel surround sound. You can select one of system’s optimized pre-programmed sound fields. Select a sound field by pressing the SOUND FIELD button of your desired sound f ield.

26 GB SET BT BT.STBY (BT STANDBY) When the system has pairing informati on, the system is in BLUETOOTH standby mode even when it is turned off. ON: BLUETOOTH standby mo de is enabled. The illumination LED flas hes in blue slowly when the system is turned off.
27 GB Advanced Settings Linking the system (LINK) You can link the Sound Bar and the subwoofer again to enable wi reless transmission between them. 1 Press LINK on the rear of the subwoofer with the point of a pen, etc. The subwoofer k eeps beeping for a certain time.
