40 Replacing the Lamp Replacing th e Lamp Replace the lamp with a new one if a message displ ayed on the pro jected image o r the LAMP/ CO VER indicator noti fies you to re place th e lamp (pa ges 36, 37 ). Use an LMP-E212 projector la mp (not suppli ed) for replacem ent.
41 Replacing the Lamp Others 3 Loosen the 2 screws on the lamp then pull out the lamp by its grab . 4 Insert the new lamp all the way in until it is securely in place. T ighten the 2 screws. 5 Close the lamp cov er and tighten the 1 screw . Be sure to instal l the la mp secure ly as it was.
42 Cleaning the Air Filter Cleaning th e Air Filter When a me ssage appea rs on the p rojected image indic ating ti me for a f ilter c leaning, clean the air f ilter (pages 36, 37). If the dust cannot be removed from the air filter e ven after cleaning, repl ace the air filter with a new one.
