3 Before Oper ation Bef ore Operation Thi s unit is equip ped wi th th e network presentatio n and c ontrol fu nction. Any image of a co mputer, if it is connect ed to a LAN by wired or wireless connection, can b e projec ted by connec tin g a network cable to t he N ETWORK conne ctor (RJ45) of the proj ector .

6 Preparation 3 Install the software according to the “wizard” w ithin the installer . When yo u use W indows XP Ser vice Pack 2/V i sta and the fo llowing dialog box appe ars dur ing insta llatio n, check the [Register auto matically] radio b utton and click [Next].
7 Preparation Projector Station fo r Air Shot V ersion 2 starts up autom atically . When y ou ar e not goin g to pr oject t he pic tur es, click [OK] . Afte r executing [A utoC onfig.exe], start up the applic ation with [PjstnASv2.e xe]. When y ou change t he comput er , execute [AutoC onfi g.
8 Preparation 4 Press the ENTER key . The set ting menu di splay ap pears. 5 Select [Setup] to set network setting items. T o use the netw ork fu nctio n, s et [St andb y Mode] in th e Function menu of the projecto r to [Stan dard].

12 Connection Connectio n Connecting to wired LAN • For a LAN connec tion, conta ct you r ne twork administra tor . • When t he proj ecto r and a co mpute r that has a different ne twork segm ent (sub net) ar e connect ed, s et [PC R egis tration List] (page 10) on th e projec tor and [ Projec tor Set ting] (page 18) on the comput er .
13 Connection Connecting to several projectors at the same time * A max imum of 5 projec tors can be connected a t the same time . • T o connect to LAN, contac t your netwo rk administr ator . • 5 projecto rs may not be able to be connected at th e same time due t o the computer .

18 Setting/Operating via Web [Pro jector Setting] ta b The IP address of t he projecto r must be specified when the pro jector has th e dif fere nt netw ork se gme nt (subn et) from the comput er . Up to 100 pro ject ors can be en tered. [Others ] tab The [Others] t ab provides other settings.
19 Setting/Operating via Web After ac cess, the following display appears. Click [ Inform ation]. Y ou can con firm the current state o f the projec tor on the comp uter . Y ou ca nnot change the se ttings of the proje ctor . Clic k [Con trol ]. Y ou can co ntrol t he project or on the computer .
20 Setting/Operating via Web Click [ Setup ]. The Setup menu dial og box ap pears. You can set the Owner in formation, Password, Date and Time , Mail Report, et c. Click [Apply ] in the lo wer part of ea ch window to update t he projecto r to the da ta input in each window.
21 Setting/Operating via Web Time Zone Select the region in which you are using the proje ctor. Date/Time Set the da te and t ime (MM, DD, YY, HH:MM). Time Server Enter the address of the time server when the time is set by a t imer server.
22 Setting/Operating via Web Mon/T ue/W ed/Thu/Fr i/Sat/Sun: Specify the da ys of the week when e-m ail is t o be sent. Y o u can chec k two or more da ys. Every Month o n Day: Sel ect th is check box and sele ct the day from the drop-d o wn list to send e- mail on a pre-defined day ev er y month.
23 Setting/Operating via Web • If the foll owing it ems hav e not been set or are incorr ectly s et, an err or me ssag e appe ars and the t est e-mail me ssage is di sabled: - Ad dres s in t he Addr ess f i eld. - “Ma il Addr ess” and “Outg oing Mail Se rver (SMTP) ” in the Mai l Ac count f ield.
