Getting S t arted 5 Getting Started With y our Sprint service, you are ready to star t enjoying the advan t ages of Sprint Po wer Vision. This section will help you learn the basics of using your data services, including managing your user name, launching a Vision connection, and navigating the W eb with your phone.

Getting S t arted 7 Net Guard When you first c onnec t to the W eb, the Net Guard will be displayed to confirm that you want to connect. This fea t ure helps you av oid accidental connections. Y ou can disable the Net Guar d in the future by selecting Always Auto-Con nec t when the Net Guard is displayed.
8 Data C onnec tion Status and Indicators Y our phone’ s display lets y ou know the current stat us of your da ta connection through indicators which are displa yed at the top of the scr een.

54 Setting Up a Data C onnection With Y our PC In order to use y our phone as a modem, you’ll first need to load the Spr int PC S Connection Mana ger SM sof tware on y our PC. Then, use a compati ble USB cable or built-in Bluetooth connection to connec t your phone to your PC.
