THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING THE 1399 Air Rower T o help you get started, we have pre-assembled most of your 1399 Air Rower at the factory with the exception of those few parts left unassembled for shipping purposes. Simply follow the few assembly instructions set forth in this manual.

Place all parts from the box in a cleared area and position them on the oor in front of you. Remove all packing materials from your area and place them back into the box. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed. Read each step carefully before beginning.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS STEP 3 Make sure the Wheels on the FRONT ST ABILIZER(7) face the front. Attach the FRONT ST ABILIZER(7) to the MAIN FRAME(1) with CARRIAGE BOL TS(M8x1.25x65mm)(71), ARC W ASHERS(M8)(35), LOCK W ASHERS(M8)(34), and ACORN NUTS(M8x1.
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 9 STEP 4 Locate the C Ring(48) on the STOPPER BAR(6). Insert the longer end of the ST OPPER BAR(6) through the MAIN FRAME(1). Secure the STOPPER BAR(6) in position with the SPRING CLIP(46). STEP 5 There is an “L” decal on the LEFT PEDAL CAP(43L), and an “R” decal on the RIGHT PEDAL CAP(43R).
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 10 STEP 6 Slide the SEA T(66) onto the RAIL(2). Attach the ST OPPER BUMPER(56) to the RAIL(2) with BUTTON HEAD BOL TS (M8x1 .25x25m m) (22). Also, please verify that the other ST OPPER BUMPE R(56) have alrea dy been assembled at the factory .
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 1 1 STEP 8 Attach the RAIL(2) to the MAIN FRAME(1) with BUTTON HEAD BOL T(M10x1.5x100mm)(55), W ASHER(M10)(52), and ACORN NUT(M10x1.5)(51). Lock the RAIL(2) in position with the two LOCKING PINS(54). STEP 9 Install two AA batteries into the METER(67), the batteries are not included.
OPERA TIONAL INSTRUCTIONS 12 USING THE FITNESS METER 1. Do not mix a new battery with an old battery . 2. Use the same type of battery . Do not mix an alkaline battery with another type of battery . 3. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended. NOTE: 1.

W ARM-UP and COOL-DOWN W arm-Up The purpose of warming up is to prepare your body for exercise and to minimize injuries. W arm up for two to ve minutes before strength training or aerobic exercising. Perform activities that raise your heart rate and warm the working muscles.
