T AR GUS OPTICAL BLUET OO TH ® MOUSE Intr oduction Congratulations on y our purchase of the T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse. This mouse uses Bluetooth wireless technology which provides seamless connections up to 30ft (10M) in range .
Installing the Bat teries (Included) • Use the two AAA-size rechargeab le NIMH batteries (Included) WARNINGS: WHEN REPLACING THE BA TTERIES, ALW A YS REPLACE WITH NiMH BA TTERIES OR OTHER RECHARGEABLE BA TTERIES. NEVER USE ALKALINE BA TTERIES IN A DEVICE.
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse Mouse Power Management • T o power the mouse on and off , slide the on/off switch at the bottom of the mouse to the desired position. • During operation, the power sa ving feature puts the mouse into "sleep mode" after 8 minutes of inactivity .
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 1. Charge the mouse for at least 8 hours before using it. And please make sure only rechargeab le batteries (included) are used.

Go to the Bluetooth Places icon located on your desktop or in the system tra y and double clic k, then click Add a Bluetooth De vice .
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 2. The Bluetooth Wizard screen will prompt. Please follo w the on- screen instructions. 3. Please tur n on the mouse and press the connection ID button located at the bottom of the mouse until the LED on the mouse blinks red (discov ery mode).
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 4. The confirmation window will appear after the computer finishes detecting the Bluetooth devices . Select the Bluetooth Wireless Mouse and click Next to contin ue. (There may be one or more diff erent Bluetooth devices detected.
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse Connecting with Bluetooth Sof twar e: T OSH I BA (Windo ws Vista) 1. Double click on the Bluetooth Manager icon in the system tra y , and then click Add Ne w Connection .
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 3. The computer will now search f or the Bluetooth mouse and other Bluetooth devices . Please wait until the search is completed. Choose the device y ou wish to connect. There ma y be more than one Bluetooth device detected.
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 5. The connection is estab lished and setup is complete. The device is ready to use. If the connection is not successful, please click Back and search the device again. Y ou can contin ue to add other Bluetooth devices or close the windo w .
Bluetooth So f twar e: M ac 1. Go to the Bluetooth icon located on your desktop or in the system bar and click the icon to begin setup . Select “T urn Bluetooth On” to enable the de vice. 2. Scroll down the list to “Set up Bluetooth De vice... ” and select the option.
4. Please select “mouse” and click continue to proceed with setup . Please make sure y our mouse is in “disco very” mode . T o enable “discov ery” mode, turn on the mouse and press the connection ID button located at the bottom of the de vice until the light in the middle blinks red light.
6. The Bluetooth mouse will now begin pairing. Clic k continue to proceed. 7. Congratulations. Y our Bluetooth mouse is setup and is ready to use. Y ou can choose to setup another device or clic k Quit to e xit setup.
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse What do I do if the device does not work? • Make sure that the polarity of the battery is correct. The positive (+) and negative (-) ends must match the positiv e (+) and negative (-) connections in the battery housing.
