IINTRODUCTION Y our Digital Picture Frame (DPF) enables y ou to view digital pictures fr om either a memor y car d or from a USB drive. The DPF is c ompatible with the following car d formats: SD™ (Secure Disk), MMC™(Multimedia C ard), MS™ (Memory Stick) and SDHC (Secure Disk High C apacity).

GET TING ST ARTED HANDSET PREP ARA TION Remove the pr otective strip fr om the batter y compartment to activate the battery . If the handset behaves err atically or fails t o operate the ba tter y should be replaced . 1: Pr ess the catch a t the side of the battery compartment.
CONNECTING POWER Plug the DC power jack of the adapter in to the DC socket in the DPF . Plug the power adapter in to the mains point. Switch on a t the mains. Switch the ON /OFF swit ch on the frame to ON. • Y ou can leave the po wer switch on, and use the button on the handset to turn the frame on or set it t o Standby mode.
INST ALLING A USB DE VICE OR MEMORY CARD T o insert a memor y card . P osition the card with the cr opped corner facing the top of the scr een and press gen tly in. T o release a memory card . Grip both sides of the card and gen tly pull out. When rst switched on the pictures will displa y as a Slide Show.
VIEWING PIC TURES Switch the ON /OFF swit ch on the frame to ON or pr ess the button on the handset to bring the frame out of S tandby . If there is a memory device inserted the device will star t a slideshow . When the frame det ects a memor y devices it displays all the viewable images.
NA VIGA TING A SLIDESHOW VIA THE OSD MENU During a slideshow: Pr ess the OSD key The OSD menu appears on the scr een and slideshow pauses. Pr ess the or k ey on the handset to navigate between the icons on the OSD menu. • T o star t the slide show from the curr ent pic tur e, highlight and press the OK k ey on the handset.

SYSTEM SETUP Acc ess the Main Menu. Select SETUP: Press OK . (Y ou can also enter the Setup Menu at b y pressing the SETUP k ey on the handset) There ar e three Setup menus Pr ess or to select a setup menu. A highlight indic ates the menu. Pr ess OK to ent er the menu and display the menu cont ents.
Pr ess OK to conrm and r eturn to the Photo Setup Menu. Pr ess or to select T ransition Eect. Pr ess Pr ess or to select O or Random. O : the slides change with no eects in bet ween Random: The slides change with a variety of eects bet ween slides .
CL OCK/CALENDAR SETUP Pr ess or to select Clock/Calendar setup . Press OK Pr ess or to select Show Photo . Press Pr ess or to select On or O. Pr ess OK to conrm and retur n . The “Show Photo ” default setting is O. How ever , when On is selected a slide show is visible when the DPF is in Clock/C alendar display mode - see P age 12.
Setting the Date The Default Dat e format is Month/D ate/Y ear (mm/dd/yy). B efor e setting the date y ou may wish to change the forma t to dd/mm/yy . Pr ess or to select Set date format . Pr ess Pr ess or to select the format . Pr ess OK to conrm and return .
Auto Run This setting selects the display which comes on when the DPF is switched on or br ought out of Standby , Photo is the default. . Pr ess or to select Auto Run. Pr ess Pr ess or to select the item . Pr ess OK to conrm and return . Po wer On and P ower O.
TROUBLESHOO TING If y our DPF seems not t o be working as well as you might e xpect, please work thr ough this checklist before r eturning the product to T esco . The DPF will not switch on. Switch o , Check the power supply c onnections, switch on again.
CARE AND CLEANING Car e and cleaning operations should be c arried out with the unit un- plugged from the mains . Clean the plastic par ts with a barely damp cloth and then dry care- fully . Do NOT t ouch the screen with bar e ngers, hard or point ed objec ts.
