HOUSEHOLD USE ONL Y ABOUT Y OUR DISHW ASHER Congratulations on ha ving selected a Thermador ® dishwasher , the choice of those that demand quiet and exceptional cleaning performance fr om their dishwasher .
1. Load the dishwasher . Refer to T able 1 for items suitable for washing in the dishwasher . The dishwasher should be loaded with pots, pans, dishes and silverware accor ding to the instructions pro vided under the following section titled LO ADING. 2.

PREP ARA TIONS FOR W ASHING V er y little pr eparation is required bef ore placing dishes, pots, pans, etc . into the dishwasher . Some pr eparation is requir ed: • Large solid items, such as bones, large seeds, shells, skins, leafy vegetables, meat trimmings etc.
LO ADING THE LO WER RA CK UNLO ADING When unloading the dishwasher , alwa ys unload the lower rack first and then unload the upper rack. This will minimize the chance of drops fr om the upper rack falling on the dishes in the low er rack. The silverwar e basket of the Thermador ® dishwasher ma y be r emov ed for easy unloading.

USING THE DISPENSERS For the best washing r esult it is impor tant to use the corr ect amount of detergent and rinse aid. DETERGENT USE Use only fr esh dishwashing detergent (powder is r ecommended) manufactured specificall y for dishwasher use. Use of other types of detergents will result in excessiv e suds.
CYCLE SELECTION The dishwasher will wash and dr y the contents based on cycle selection made. Refer to the CYCLE SELECTION CHAR T , T ables 2 or 3 (Pages 11-12). The most appr opriate cycle for the load to be washed can be selected fr om one of these tables.

Shown abov e are the range of values that ma y be obtained while running the dishwasher under normal conditions.
OPERA TION Once detergent has been added and befor e closing the door of the dishwasher check the wash arms to ensure that the y are fr ee to mov e . With the detergent in the dishwasher and arms free to mo ve: IMMEDIA TE ST AR T • Close the door of the dishwasher making sur e that door latches closed.
CARE AND CLEANING Thermador ® dishwashers ha ve a thr ee-stage filter system comprised of : a microfilter , a fine filter and a coarse filter . The microfilter is self-cleaning, but the coarse filter.
