Assembly Section 2-2 ASSEMBL Y Before attempting to mount or service your Tiger mower , it is import ant to read and understand all of the information in the Safety section of this manual. Check complete shipment list against the packing list to make sure there are no shortages.
Assembly Section 2-3 ASSEMBL Y HEA TER LINE MODIFICA TION (CAB UNITS) Some later modles require heater line modifications. Drain the anti-freeze from the tractor .
Assembly Section 2-4 ASSEMBL Y CABLE CONTROL LEVER ST AND On the corner cab post, mark a point at 1-3/8” from the windshield and 22 ½” from thefloor; then cut a ¾” diameter hole through the outer plastic shell. This will expose a threaded steel boss to attach the control box support bracket.
Assembly Section 2-5 ASSEMBL Y SWITCH BOX WIRING The floor covering will need to be removed to route the wires to the front console panel. Refer to the parts section for wiring diagram to hook up the switch box. Cover the four wires from the switch box with plastic wire wrap provided.
Assembly Section 2-6 ASSEMBL Y Install the valve mounting plate onto the window frame with the hardware provided. Refer to the part s section for all part s and hardware needed. Align and mount the mounting plate under the window fame with the three capscrews, flatwasher , lockwasher and hex nut.
Assembly Section 2-7 ASSEMBL Y SECTIONAL V AL VE MOUNTING (WO/CAB) Refer to the parts section, lift valve page for hardware and location of components. First, attach control valve stand to the top of the main frame mast with cap-screws, lock-washers and hex nuts.
Assembly Section 2-8 ASSEMBL Y.
Assembly Section 2-9 ASSEMBL Y PRESSURE LINE INST ALLA TION (CAB UNITS) The hydraulic pressure line will be plumbed into the tractor hydraulic pump. Locate the pressure hard line between the pump and remotes near the right rear axle, remove the hard line (refer to the illustration below and the Parts Section).
Assembly Section 2-10 ASSEMBL Y POWER BEYOND INST ALLA TION (CAB UNITS) T o install the power beyond lines from a Husco lif t valve to the tractor remote valve, locate the port on the bottom of the tractor remote valve where the hard line had been previously removed.
Assembly Section 2-11 ASSEMBL Y INST ALLING O-RING FITTINGS Installing straight, 45 degree and 90 degree O-ring fittings requires that the O-ring, washer and nut (A) be up against the swivel body (B). Insert the swivel and turn in until the swivel is pointed in the right direction and O-ring contact is made.
Assembly Section 2-12 ASSEMBL Y MAIN FRAME MOUNTING Raise front of tractor as needed and slide the main frame under tractor from right hand side. With an overhead hoist and / or jack-stands, raise the frame up to the correctly matching mounting holes.
Assembly Section 2-13 ASSEMBL Y TEMPERA TURE GAUGE MOUNTING (OPTIONAL) Mount the temperature gauge where it is clearly visible to the operator . Att ach the green ( - ) wire from the negative post on the gauge to a grounded bolt on the tractor frame. Remove paint if needed to make a good ground.
Assembly Section 2-14 ASSEMBL Y DRAFT BEAM MOUNTING Pull the inboard cylinder piston rod down to the extreme extended position. Slide the draft beam under the cylinder , and align clevis hole with draft beam hole nearest to the tractor . Install pin and secure with rollpin.
Assembly Section 2-15 ASSEMBL Y Slide other end of pivot arm with short distance between the cut-out and the end of the pivot arm, into the cylinder clevis. Next, line up the holes of the left and right lift linkage arms outside of the cylinder clevis holes.
Assembly Section 2-16 ASSEMBL Y ST OP BOL T ADJUSTMENT The stop bolt is not required on flail side mowers and should not be installed on the combo draft beam. NOTE: When the outboard cylinder is fully extended, the bonnet should be up against the stop or if travel locks are installed, it should be up against the travel lock.
Assembly Section 2-17 ASSEMBL Y CONTINUOUS DUTY SOLENOID SWITCH Mount the solenoid switch, drill holes to match, and 30 AMP breaker mounting tab, mount in dry and well protected area. Secure with 3/8” x 1” capscrews, lockwashers, and hex nuts. A.) RED 6 GA.
