4 14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is requir ed when the apparatus has been damaged in any way , such as power -supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally , or has been dropped.
5 NetW orks Instructions Congratulations on your purchase of the NetW orks radio. W e believe the NetW orks is one of the finest table radios on the market. Its sound quality , ease of use, unique features, and distinctive design are unmatched. W e’ve taken the liberty of saving some diverse Inter net radio stations to the stations presets.
6 “Connecting”. After connecting you may begin using your NetW orks. * If you prefer to connect using a dir ect Ethernet cable, connect the cable (not included) to the Ethernet input located on the bottom of NetW orks. 7. If you ar e prompted to enter a password, your network uses a security encryption system.
7 Guide to Features (T op): 1. POWER/VOLUME/SNOOZE/MUTE: Briefly press the center of the contr ol wheel to power NetW orks on. Press and hold the center of the control wheel to power NetW orks off. Rotate the wheel clockwise to increase the volume and counterclockwise to decr ease the volume.
8 7. MUTE/SNOOZE: Press to mute the audio (an icon of a speaker with a line thr ough it will show on the display) when the unit is playing and press again to r estore sound or adjust the volume. Press to mute the alarm for 7 minutes after the alarm sounds.
9 Guide to Features (Rear panel): The rear panel contr ols provide basic functionality should you lose the r emote control or the remote is not located nearby . 1. MONO/STEREO: Press in for Ster eo only when the optional NetW orks Speaker is connected.
10 5. PRESETS #1-5, SOURCE, MENU/SELECT , pqt u : See “Guide to Features (Remote Contr ol)”. Guide to features (Bottom): 1. 12VDC/1A: Connect an optional external power supply to this input, or use an optional 1A fused, 12VDC adaptor for operation in a boat or camper .
11 Internet Radio mode- T uning Stations: 1. In Internet radio mode, press and hold the Select button to enter the main menu. 2. Select “Station List”. 3. Select “Stations” (or Podcasts). 4. Next, choose Location, Genre, or Station Search and pr ess the Select button.
12 2. Tivoli EQ (found in main menu): Use the pq and Select buttons to adjust the Bass and T reble. The adjusted values will be shown in “User EQ”. Use the pq buttons to turn Loudness O n or Off. T urning Loudness on when listening at low volume levels is recommended since it boosts high and low frequencies r esulting in a more natural sound.

16 The Display: The display’ s backlight and contrast are contr olled automatically via a small sensor in the lower right corner of the front panel. There ar e no manual adjustments other than turning the display off whenever the NetW orks is tur ned off.
