Steam. Model SF - 450 Fast Professional Style Steamer Thank yo u f o r purchasing th e Ste amFast Professional Style steamer. If tap water is being used, in order t o prolong t he life of your steamer, w e recommend that th e unit b e drained after each use.
INTRODUCTION Congratulations! Y o u are about t o use the simplest and most Versatile steamer brought to you, SteamFast, a trusted name in clothing care. Your n e w steamer provides clean, professional results every time! 1. Holds over 1/2 gallon of water - enough f o r approximately 30 minutes o f continuous operation.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical appliances, always follow basic safety precautions, including t he following: 1. Read all instructions. 2. T o protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put appliance in water or other liquid.
LEARNING ABOUT YOUR STEAMER Please refer to the picture for each point (1) T h e control HANDLE on t h e end of the hos e sits just before the nozzle. The HANDLE is designed to b e heat free and is safe to grasp.
STEAMER ASSEMBLY STEP 1 - ATTACHING T H E METAL RO D Se t th e appliance o n a steady surface. The bottom metal rod is threaded on on e end. Screw the tw o larger metal rods together. Insert the bottom of the metal r od into t he holder o n the unit base and screw th e setscrew until tight.
STEAMER OPERATION STEP I - PREPARATION FOR U S E Se t the unit on the floor an d remove t h e water container. Check the inside of the container for sediment. Turn th e container upside down and push the valve open an d allow t o close two or three times to insure it is functioning smoothly.
PRESSING WITH STEAM 1. Grasp t h e control handle with t he nozzle facing upward. Beginning at the bottom o f the fabric will allow the steam to rise inside and outside removing wrinkles. Slowly move the nozzle from the bottom t o the top of th e fabric.
Accessories Fabric Brush Your steamer i s supplied with an accessory fabric brush which c an be used to gently brush the knap o f fabric such as corduroy. T o install simply snap into the appropriate slot in the nozzle when the steamer is of f and cool.
CLEANING AND STORING a . Turn th e ON / OFF switch to th e OFF position and unplug from t he power source. b. Wait for th e steamer to cool completel y for at least 30 minutes. c. Remove a nd drain the water container. Drain the unit b y removing the drain plug and allowing th e contents of the, reservoir t o drain.
