16 Personalize th e handset 6.5 Automatic answer When there is a incoming call and the handset is on the base, the phone automatically takes the line when lifted. 20 SMS 8.4 Selecting a base You can switch your handset between bases. The handsets can be registered up to 4 bases simultaneously. When selecting the base, t h e current selected base is indicated by a blinking base number. If you select “AUTO” the handset will automatically search for another base when you are out of range.
