A CME read N otes e ACME thread golf sprinkler body r equires an A CME thread swing joint for connection to the piping system. e ACME swing joint has an o-ring on the exit tting that provides a water-tight seal inside the sprinkler body when pr operly assembled.
Unpacking the Sprinkler 1 Remove the retaining screw . 2 Lift the cover . 3 Remove accessory kit. Waterproof Wire Splices ! CA UTION: All wire splices and eld connections must be waterproofed to pr event short circuit to ground and subsequent controller damage.
Sprinkler Wiring Connections Connecting Communication Cable to the INFINITY Series with GDC M odule e GDC system provides a coded DC signal o ver a polarity sensitive color coded communication cable that requires corr ect connections to ensure proper operation.
Connecting Control Wir es to the INFINIT Y S eries with Satellite e eld satellite controllers pro vide a 24 V AC signal to the sprinklers typically using individual wires. Connections to the sprinkler solenoid in these systems are not polarity sensitive and do not require specic wir e connections.

F or INF34 and INF54 Sprinklers (F ull Cir cle only) Refer to F igure 8 for the following procedur e. 1. G rasp return spring (14) and riser (16) rmly and hold in place while remo ving nozzle base (4). T urn nozzle base assembly counter-clockwise to remo ve.
T o Install the INF35 and INF55 S prinkler Riser Assemblies 1 Insert the “hold up” tool into nozzle notch and riser spring collar . 2 Note locations of alignment notch and rib. 3 Center the ratchet ring on the alignment notch and insert riser .
T o Service the Main V alve and R ock Scr een ! W ARNING: T o ser vice the main valv e, the water supply to sprinkler must be shut o and any residual water bled o.
T o Reinstall Main V alv e U se the valve insertion tool. ere ar e two sizes of the tool depending on the size of the sprinkler inlet. • 118-1843 is the 1.5” (40 mm) valve insertion tool • 118-1844 is the 1” (25 mm) valve insertion tool 1 Load snap ring onto insertion tool.
Flushing the S prinkler 1. With sprinkler operating, carefully step do wn on center of cap several times. W ater will ow around riser and ush out debris. 2. Cy cle sprinkler on and o several times to check for proper r etraction. Cap should be even with top of body ange when fully retracted.
