- 7 - 4-2. Line lock Contr ol • Matching the vertical synchronization with the power frequency is called the Line Loc k. •T o activate the line loc k, set the LL switch to ON.
- 8 - Upside P 5. INST ALLA TION Note: The attached screws are used to install the camer a to a solid surf ace. If installing to surfaces of loose or thin materials, use the appropriate anchors (not included) with the screws. 5-1. Installing the Camera 5-1-1.

- 10 - 5-1-2. Installation to a Wall or Ceiling To mount the camer a directly on the wall or ceiling. 1. Prepare the mounting space. 2. Place the camera on the wall or ceiling and mark four scre w positions with a pen. 3. Attach the camera with the f our screws to the w all or ceiling.
- 11 - B: Routing the Wires to the Left Side 1. Remov e the wires from the wire hole and position them to the left of the base. 2. Firmly secure the wires with the wire tie.

Attach the f our mounting screws to the s witch bo x. 3. P ositioning the "Upside" at the top, mo ve the screws through the base and turn the base clockwise.
- 14 - (iii) Mounting the Camera to a Switch Bo x Attached to a Ceiling 1. P osition the cover to conceal the unlock-b utton from the visible side. 2. Use the mounting holes (i) or (ii) depending on the direction of the s witch bo x. (Refer to section 5-1-3 (i) or (ii).
- 15 - 5-2. Adjusting the Viewing Angle (1) T o check the video image on the monitor , connect the "Monitor Out Harness Wire" to the connector "MON". (2) The lens pan direction can be adjusted by turning pan lock 1 counter cloc kwise to loosen it without moving the lens.
- 16 - 7. LINE LOCK PHASE If two or more cameras within a system ha ve diff erent AC line phases and the y are switched by a video s witcher , the picture on the display monitor will fluctuate v er tically . Connect 24V A C input lines of all cameras so that they all share the same phase .
- 17 - 8. NO TES ON USE AND INST ALLA TION • Do not aim the camera at the sun Nev er aim the camera at the sun ev en with the camera power off . • Do not shoot intense light Intense light such as a spotlight ma y cause a bloom or smear . A vertical str ipe ma y appear on the screen.
- 18 - 9. IN CASE OF PR OBLEMS Condition No image Unnatural color The image is out of f ocus . The image is dark. Check P oints • Are the camera and connected equipment turned on? • Is the mode setting s witch DC/AES set to OFF? Be sure to set to ON.
