14 Connections D VD/V CR to Cable/Satellite Bo x connection Connecting to a Cable or Satellite Box This D VD/V CR does not have a tuner . For recording TV programs, y ou need to connect to either Cable or Satellite Box.

18 Connections W arning When playing D TS-encoded discs (D VD video discs and audio CDs), ex cessive noise ma y be output from the analog stereo jacks . T o a void possible damage to the audio sy stem, you should take proper pr ecautions when the ANALOG A UDIO OUT (L/R) jacks of the D VD/VCR ar e connected to an amplification system.

Recording an INDEX mark The Index Sear ch function automatically records an INDEX mark on the tape whenev er a recording is initiated. It is because due to high resolution pictures on these discs which include a lot of inf ormation.
