2 Caution: H igh v oltage components 1. Air conditioning compr essor . 2. High voltage cables ( orange colour). 3. Power control unit and DC/DC convert er . 4. Caution label. 5. Service plug. 6. Hybrid battery (T raction battery). 7. Electric motor (T raction motor).
3 Keys The following k eys are pr ovided with the vehicle. 1 . Key (with wir eless remote contr ol function). 2. Master key . 3. Key number plat e. If you should lose your k eys or if you need additional keys, duplicat es can be made using the key number .
4 Steering wheel adjustment The steering wheel can be adjusted to a c omfortable position. Hold the steering wheel and pr ess the lever down. Adjust to the ideal position by mo ving the steering wheel horizontally and vertically. After adjustment, pull the lev er up to secure the st eering wheel.

Adjust the seat as needed (front seats only) and sit up straight and well back in the seat. 1. F astening the belt. Push the tab int o the buckle until a clicking sound is heard.

8 Instrument C luster When disconnecting and rec onnect ing the battery t erminals, the enter ed data (clock, date and fuel c onsumpt ion) will need t o be reset. * 1 These lights turn on when the “POWER” swit ch is turned to ON mode to indicat e that a system check is being performed.
9 Setting the clock 1. Press and hold the "CL OCK" button t o allow the hour indication to flash. 2. Press the "CL OCK" button t o adjust the hours while the hour indication is flashing. After adjusting the hours, wait 5 seconds t o allow the minutes indication t o flash.
10 L ights Headlights The headlights can be operat ed manually or aut omat ically The front position, tail, license plat e and instrument p anel lights turn on. The headlights and all lights listed abov e turn on. The headlights and all lights listed abov e turn on and off automatically .

12 P ower (ignition) switch Starting the hybrid system C heck that the parking brak e is set. Sit in the driver’s seat and firmly depress the brake p edal. The POWER switch indicat or turns green. Press the POWER swit ch. The hybrid system can be start ed from any mode.

14 T r ansmission Shifting the shift lever Select a shift position appropriat e for the driving conditions. Operat e the shift lever gently and ensure c orrect shifting operation. When shifting from P t o D or R , from D t o R , or from R t o D, ensure that the br ake pedal is being depressed and that the vehicle is stationary .
15 Bonne t opening T o open the bonnet: 1. Pull the bonnet lock r elease lever . The bonnet will spring up slightly . 2. In front of the vehicle, pull up the auxilliary catch lever and lift the bonnet. 3. Hold the bonnet open by inserting the support rod into the slot.
