2 Acc essing your v ehicle The door cannot be opened from inside the vehicle when the lock is set. These locks can be set to pr event children fr om opening the rear doors. Slide on each r ear door switch t o lock both rear doors. Rear door child-prot ector lock (5-door models only) 1.

4 Electric windows Steering wheel ( V ehicles with an adjustable type ) T o change the steering wheel angle, hold the st eering wheel, push down the lock r elease lever , tilt the steering wheel t o the desired angle and return the lever t o its original position.
5 T o fasten your belt, pull it out of the r etractor and insert the tab into the buckle. Y ou will hear a click when the tab locks int o the buckle. The seat belt length automatically adjusts t o your size and the seat position. Seat and seat belt adjustment Make sur e that all occupants ar e wearing their seat belts befor e driving the vehicle.

8 C lock Press and hold the “CL OCK” button until you hear a beep. 1. Adjust the hours. 2. Adjust the minutes. T ype A (On some models) Press the “MENU” button; press the (C onfig). press the (Time). T ype B (On some models) 1. Adjust the hours.
9 L ights Headlights T o turn on the lights: T wist the headlight/t urn signal l ever knob. Position 1: P arking, tail, license plate and instrument p anel lights. Position 2: Headlights and all the abov e. High-low beams F or high beams, turn the headlights on and push the lever away fr om you (position 1).
10 Windscreen wipers and washer T o turn on the windscreen wipers, mo ve the lever t o t he desired setting. The k ey must be in the « ON » position. 1 . Intermitt ent windscreen wiper operation. 2. Low speed oper ation 3. High speed operation 4. T emporary operation F or a single sweep, push the lever up and r elease it.

13 F uel tank opening 1. Open the fuel filler door . 3. T urn the cap slowly counter clockwise, then pause slightly befor e removing it. After r emoving the cap, hang it on the cap hanger . After r efueling, turn the fuel tank cap clockwise, without inserting the key .
14 Bonne t opening T o open the bonnet: 1 . Pull the bonnet lock r e lease lever . The bonnet will spring up slightly . 2. In front of the vehicle, pull up on the auxiliary catch lever and lift the hood. 3. Hold the bonnet open by inserting the support rod into the slot.
15 Ec o-D riving T otal potential sav ing of 20 - 30%. Ec o-D riving S avings Roof load incr eases wind drag and theref ore consumption. Open windows incr ease fuel consumption by an av erage of 5% .
