1 English Product Registration When using your computer for the first time, it is recommended that you immediately register it. Th is will give you access to some useful benefits, su ch as: • Faster.

Setting up your computer The AcerSystem is a versatile and powerful system, supporting a mainstream performance CPU.
3 English Necessary to know before setup Selecting a location Selecting the optimum loca tion for your computer: • Do not place the system too close to other el ectrical eq uipment . • Do not place the system in high-t raf fic areas or where the power cord or other cor ds may be stepped on .
4 English 1 Turn on all peri pheral equipm ent, such as the monitor, printer, fax, speakers, etc. 2 Turn on the system. Once the s tart up process is com plete, you can begin to use your co mputer. Shutting down your computer Click to shut down y our computer.
5 English Start Aspire RevoBoot Each time you s witch on your c omputer , you will see this screen. If you do not move the mouse within 10 seconds, your computer will continue t o start up Aspire RevoBoot main screen. Use Aspire RevoBoot Click on any of the icon s on the screen or the la unch bar, located at the bottom of the screen.
6 English Opens Speed Dial, a screen that displays up to eigh t web pages saved as favorites. The Speed Dial screen also contains a text field used to perform an Internet search. Starts the browser. If you come across a PDF, DOC, XLS or PPT file that you want to open, dou ble-click to open it in a new tab.
7 English Note : If you wish to view pictures or listen to mu sic, you need to store the content on a USB storage device. IMPORTANT : It is not possible to store content on you r computer’s hard drive when using Aspire RevoBo ot.

9 English Aspire RevoBuild The Aspire RevoBu ild tool is a simple , highly integ rated GUI-based utility to hel p you quickly instal l the Microsoft Wind ows operating system on your new computer.
10 English Using Aspire RevoBuild When you switch on your computer, the program fast launch screen is automatically displayed. Click Enter Re voBuild to open the Main Functions page.
11 English your Windows installation and set the size of the system partition (C: drive). Confirmation Displays the selected install ation configuration. Click Back to make any changes or Next to start installing the operating system. The first step will be to create and format the system pa rtition (your C: drive).
12 English The Post-setup Wizard The Post-setup Wizard will open on the first boot after you finish installing the operating system. Si nce there are some drivers that cannot be installed du ring the standa rd installation process, you may need to install them after the operating syste m has been installed.
