Using the LCD Displa y Setting the Timing Mode Setting the timi ng mode is important for maxi mizing the qual ity of the scre en imag e and mini mizin g e ye strain . The timing mode consists of the r esolution (e x ample 1024 x 76 8) and refresh rate (or vertic al frequ ency; example 75 H z).
Adjust ing the Sc reen Im a g e Use the b uttons on the front control p anel to display an d adjust the OnV iew ® controls which d isplay on the screen. The On V ie w co ntrols are e xpl ained at the top of th e ne xt page and are def ined in “Main Menu C ontrols” o n page 9.
Do the f ollowing to adjust the scree n image: 1 T o display the Main Menu, press b utton [1]. NO TE: All OnV ie w menus and ad justment screens dis appear auto matically after about 3 0 seconds. 2 T o select a control y ou wan t to adjust, pres s ▲ or ▼ to scroll u p or do wn the Main Menu.
Main Menu Contr ols Adjust the men u items sho wn below by using the up ▲ and do wn ▼ b uttons. Contr ol Explanation A uto Image Adjust automatically sizes, centers, an d f ine tunes the video sig nal to eliminate wa viness and distortion. Press the [2 ] b utton to obtain a sharper image.
Color Adjus t pro vides se ver al color adjus tment m odes: pr eset color tem peratures and RGB which allo w s you to adjust red ( R ), green ( G ), and b lue ( B ) sep arately .
Inf ormation displays the timing mode (video si gnal input) coming fr om the graphi cs card in your comp uter . See your graphic card’ s user gu ide for instr uctions on cha nging the resolution a nd refresh r ate (vertical frequency).
Scalin g adjusts the video input signal to t he scree n size other than 1024 x 768 @ 60 Hz using t he follo wing opt ions. 1:1 adjusts the vi deo signal so th at the he ight and width of the pictur e are t he s ame. Fill a ll adjusts the video sig nal to f ill the screen.
