Max Ice When activated, Max Ice r educes the fr eezer temperatur e to the optimum s etting for 24 hours in order to pr oduce mor e ice. Note: When the Max Ice featur e is in operation, the UP and DOWN pads for the fr eezer contr ol will not operate.
Door Storage Dairy Compartment The Dairy Compartment pr ovides convenient door storage for spreadable items such as butter and mar garine. This compa rtment can be moved to dif feren t locations to accommodate storage needs. T o use the dairy compartment, raise the cover .
Accessories Egg Bin The egg bin has thr ee pieces - the lid, the egg tray , and the bin. Use the egg bin to hold one, or two doz en eggs. T o hold one dozen eggs: Place a dozen eggs into the egg carrier . Then place the egg carrier into the bin and cover with the lid .
Accessories Ice Bin The Ice Bin pr ovides storage for ice. T o Remove the Ice Bin: • Pull it forward , away from th e ice maker . T o avoid the ice maker dumping ice while the bin is removed, turn the ice maker of f by raising the icema ker arm. T o Install the Ice Bin: • Reverse the above pr ocedur e.
Removal and Installation Initial Installation The water filter is located in the upper rig ht hand corner of the fresh food compartment. • Remove sealing label fr om end of filter and ins ert into filter head. • Rotate gently clockwise until filter s tops.

Fresh Food Storage • The refrig erator should be kept between 34°- 40° F (3.1°-4° C) with an optimum temperature of 38° F (3.3° C). T o check the temperature, place an appliance thermometer in a glass of water and place in the center of the r efrigerator .
