With the Weber ® gas barbecue y ou can grill, barbecue, roast and bak e with results that are difficult to duplicate with indoor kitchen appliances. C-1 Gas Instructions Install Gas Supply General Specifications for Piping Note - Contact y our local municipality for b uilding codes regulating outdoor gas barbecue installations. In absence of Local Codes, you m ust confirm to the latest edition of ANSI Z223.
C-2 Gas Instructions Remove contr ol panel and burner contr ol knobs Y ou will need: Phillips screwdriver . 1) Remov e control knobs. 2) Unhook side b ur ner from Cookbo x F rame. 3) Remov e screws with a Phillips scre wdriver 4) Pull up igniter b utton until it sticks in the up position and remo ve control panel from grill.
C-3 Gas Instructions Chec k for gas leaks D ANGER Do not use an open flame to chec k for gas leaks. Be sure there are no sparks or open flames in the area while y ou check f or leaks. Sparks or open flames will result in a fire or explosion which can cause serious bodily injury or death and damage to pr oper ty .

D-4 T r oubleshooting Pr oblem Check Cure Burners b urn with a yellow or orange flame, in conjunction with the smell of gas. Inspect W eber ® Insect/Spider Screens f or possible obstructions. (Blockage of holes .) Clean W eber ® Insect/Spider Screens.
D-5 Pr oblem Chec k Cure Side Burner does not light. Flame is low in HIGH position. Flame is very yellow in conjunction with the smell of gas, OR Burner makes popping noise in conjunction with the smell of gas. Push button ignition does not work. Is gas supply off? T ur n supply on.
E-1 Maintenance (1) (1) Main Burner Flame P attern The Weber ® gas barbecue burners have been f actor y set f or the correct air and gas mixture. The correct flame pattern is shown.
E-2 Maintenance Replacing Main Burner s 1) Y our W eber ® gas barbecue must be OFF and cool. 2) T ur n gas OFF at source. 3) T o remov e control panel: take off the b ur ner control knobs. Remove the scre ws holding the control panel in place. Lift off the control panel.
