5 This chart is provided to help you identify the small parts required for assembly . The number in parentheses below each part refers to the key number of the part from the P ART LIST near the end of this manual. Note: If a p art is not in the hardware kit, check to see if it has been preattached.
T o make assembly easier , carefully read the following assembly tips: • Assembly requires two persons. • Because of its weight and size, the weight bench should be assembled in the location where it will be used. Make sure that there is enough clear- ance to walk around the weight bench as you assemble it.
3. Attach the Front Leg (8) to the Frame (2) with two M 8 x 43mm Bolts (39), four M8 W ashers (16), and two M8 Locknuts (17); do not t igh ten t he Loc knu ts ye t.
7. Orient the Backrest T ubes (5) and the Backrest (6) as shown. A ttach the Backrest T ubes (5) to the Backrest (6) with four M6 x 38mm Screws (30) and four M6 W ashers (26); do not tighten the Screws yet. 8. Insert the Backrest Support (7) into a set of holes in the Uprights (1).
9 1 1. Attach a Fly Arm (25) to an Upright (1) with an M10 x 120mm Bolt (19) and an M10 Locknut (33). Make sure that the Fly Arm is resting a gainst the outer side of the Fly Arm Stop (15). Do not overtighten the Locknut; the Fly A rm must pivot easily .
A TT ACHING WEIGHTS TO THE LEG LEVER OR THE FL Y ARMS T o use the Leg Lever (4), slide the desired weights onto the weight tube on the Leg Lever . T o use the Fly Arms (25), make sure there is a Weight Stop (28) on each weight tube. Then, slide the desired weights onto the weight tubes.
A TT ACHING WEIGHTS TO THE BARBELL Slide the same amount of Weight (38, 44) onto both ends of the barbell. Slide the two Lock Collars (42) against the Weights, and tighten them fully . 38 44 B arbell 38 42 42 W ARNING: Always secure Weights (38, 44) on the barbell with the Lock Collars (42).
