It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users of this treadmill are adequately informed of all warnings and precautions.
4 18. Do not attempt to raise, lower, or move the treadmill until it is properly assembled. (See A SSEMBLY on page 6, and HOW TO FOLD AND MOVE THE TREADMILL on page 13.) Y ou must be able to safely lift 45 lbs. (20 kg) to raise, lower, or move the treadmill.

6 1. Make sure that the power cord is unplugged. Turn the Upright Knobs (11) counterclockwise (only one is shown). See the lower drawing. Pull the Latch Knob (10), partially raise the Uprights (3, 4) and then release the Latch Knob. With the help of a sec- ond person, raise the Uprights.
7 2 . Pivot the console assembly to the desired posi- tion and tighten the Console Knobs (37). Always make sure that the Console Knobs (37) are fully tightened before you use the treadmill. 3. Make sure that all parts are properly tightened before you use the treadmill.
8 T HE PRE-LUBRICATED WALKING BELT Your treadmill features a walking belt coated with high-performance lubricant. IMPORTANT: Never apply sili- cone spray or similar substances to the walking belt or the walking platform. Such substances will deteri- o rate the walking belt and cause excessive wear.
9 Km/H QUICK SPEED FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE The treadmill console offers an impressive array of features designed to make your workouts more effec- tive and enjoyable. When you use the manual mode, you can change the speed of the treadmill with the touch of a button.
10 HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER IMPORTANT: If the treadmill has been exposed to c old temperatures, allow it to warm to room tem- perature before turning on the power. If you do not d o this, you may damage the console displays or other electrical components.
1 1 4. Follow your progress with the display. The speed display shows the speed of the walk- i ng belt. T he time display shows the elapsed time. Note: When a workout is selected, the display will show the time remaining in the workout instead of the elapsed time.
12 HOW TO USE A PRESET WORKOUT 1. Insert the key into the console. See step 1 on page 10. 2. Select a preset workout. To select a preset workout, press the Select button. Press the Fast button or the Slow button to select the desired workout and then press the Select but- ton.

14 TROUBLESHOOTING M ost treadmill problems can be solved by following the steps below. Find the symptom that applies, and follow the steps listed. If further assistance is needed, please see the front cover of this manual. PROBLEM: The power does not turn on SOLUTION: a.
15 PROBLEM: The walking belt is off-center or slips when walked on SOLUTION: a. If the walking belt is off-center, first remove the k ey and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD.
