4 Installing the Driver Note: Before beginning an y installation procedure, alwa ys back up your data in this case, perform a HotSync ™ operation of your handheld’ s information to your computer . Installation the Ke yboar d driv er with a W indows PC 1.
5 Using the Keyboard A – Open the Keyboard. 1. While holding the K eyboard, depress the latch to open the case. 2. Unfold the Keyboard to its full size. 3. Holding the red-bordered sides of the Keyboard, slide the right half to ward the left until the two sides come together .
6 Using the Keyboard (continued) 5. Next, a. F or P alm V Series handhelds: slide your handheld onto the doc king connector gently until it is firmly in place. Y our PD A will power on automatically . T ilt it upward and position the flat support to the desired angle.
7 Using the Keyboard (continued) After use, detach y our handheld and refold the Keyboard. 1. Remove y our handheld from the Keyboard connector with an upward motion. 2. Remove the PD A-One Adapter , if necessary (if using a P alm III, VII or m100 Series handheld).
8 Adjusting the Keyboard Settings Adjust your ke yboar d for your specific uses 1. Select the Applications icon 2. Select the Keyboard icon Ke y Repeat Rate: Select the position the to designate the speed at whic h a char acter is repeated when y ou hold down the key (1 to 10, slow to fast).

Y ou can also use combination commands that you create and assign.
