28 BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE SAFEGUARDING THE ENVIRONMENT • Your new appliance is de signed exclusiv ely for domestic use. To ensure bes t use of your appliance, carefully read the inst ructions which contain a description of the appliance and advice on storing and preserving food .
29 PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS • Use the refrigerator compartment only for the storage of fr esh food and the freezer compartment only for the storage of frozen food, the freezing of fr es h food, and to make ice cubes. • During installation, ma ke sure the appliance does not damage the power cable.

31 DISPLAY PANEL 1. MENU BUTTON Press this button to choose the Economy, Holiday, Turbo, Super Freezing and Super Cooling modes 2. ECONOMY MODE When the economy mode is selected this symbol will light 3. SUPER FREEZING MODE When the super freezing mode is sele cted this symbol will light 4.
32 GUIDE TO SELECTING FUNCTIONS SWITCHING ON THE APPLIANCE When the appliance is connected to the mains power supply , if compartment are not cold enough , “LF” will appear on the freezer temperat ure display and “L C” on the refrigerator temperature display.
33 FREEZER COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE BUTTON • At first, the temperature display shows -16°C. • Press button “ ” once. • The first time the button is presse d, the freezer ba rs will star t blinking; if button “ ” is pressed again within 2 sec onds, the temperature display will show -18°C.
34 SUPER FREEZING MODE • This function must be activate d before freezing fresh food. How to use; • Press the menu button until the su per freezing symbol lights up • If the user does not press any bu tton for 2 sec.
35 TURBO MODE Turbo mode is not a mode that is selected individually. • The Turbo symbol will light when both the super cooling and super freezing modes are selected. How to use: • Press the menu button until the Sup er Freezing symbol li ghts up.
36 ECONOMY MODE How to use: • Press the menu button until th e Economy symbol lights up. • If the user does not press any bu tton for 2 sec., the Economy mode will be set. The corre sponding sym bol will blink 5 times and the acoustic alarm will sound.
37 REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT This appliance is equipped with a No Frost syst em that does not requ ire manual def rosting. The appliance is also prov ided with a ventilated system , thanks to which the intern al temperatur e is to all intents and purposes uniform.
38 FRESH CONTRO L COMPARTMENT This sliding compartment stays colder tha n the rest of the refrige rator compar tment to keep daily foods fresh longer. It is proper for keeping dairy prod ucts, cold cuts, sausage and meat. If necessary, remove the f resh control compartment for cleaning.
39 MOISTURE CONTROL (dependin g on the model) The fruit and vegetables drawer is provided with a moisture contro l that allows you to control the necessary amount of air that goes into the drawer. • We recommend to keep the control closed to preser ve leafy vegetables and open to preser ve fruit.
40 FREEZER COMPARTMENT TO REPLACE THE CRISPER DRAWER LID First step: replacing the crisper drawer lid • Insert the back of th e lid into the ru nners.
41 ICE CUBES • Take out the ice cube tray. • Fill it with water to the indicated level. • Replace the ice c ube tray in its original position . • When the ice cubes are ready, turn the knob to drop them into the ice bin. Do not fill the ice bin with water.
42 GUIDE TO STORAGE AND THAWING OF FOOD PREP ARING FRESH FOOD FOR FREEZING It is important to wrap food so that no water, moistu re, or vapour may penetrate; this avoids the transfer of odours and flavours throughout the refri gerator and allows better storage of frozen food.
43 FOOD STORAGE CHART Storage time will va ry accord ing to the quality of the food, the type of packaging or wrap used (moisture and vapour proof), and the storage temperature (which s hould be -18°C).
44 CARE AND MAINTENANCE INSTALLATION Freestanding appliances (not built-in) • Fit the spacers (if supplied) on the rear of t he condenser positioned at the back of the appliance (see figure); alternatively, leave a space of at least 6 cm between the rear of the appliance and the wall.
45 DOOR REVERSIBILITY 1. Unscrew the two screws which are fixing the middle hinge. Also remove the two big caps on the left. (FIG-1) 2. Dismantle the refrigerator and f reezer door from cabinet by pulling towards to you together with the middle hinge.
46 6. Assemble the top hinge and hinge cover on the left side. (FIG-6) 7. Replace the top bushing and top bushing cap. (FIG-7) (You can use the bushing cap that is put in the user manual bag) Remove the bottom bushing and bottom stopper and assemble it to the left side.
47 VACATION Short vacation There is no need to disconnect the refrigerator from the power suppl y if you will be away for l ess than three weeks. Use up perishab le food, freeze o ther food. Long vacation Remove all the food if you are going away for thr ee weeks or more.
