12 ATTACHING THE MONITOR ARMS (MA) Atta ch each Monito r Arm (MA) to the back of your televi sion as shown. Make sure that each W asher (R for M4 or M5 screws, or S for M6 or M8 screws) is placed between the Screw and the Monitor Arm. Don’t place the W ashers between the Arms and the television.
13 U se spacers if Monitor Arms (MA) do not fit firmly against the back of the television, such as when the back of the television is curved, contains larger recessed mounting holes, or some other obstruction is in the way . Spacers also provide extra room for cables.

15 IT DETERMINE HEIGHT LOCATION OF TELEVISION Measure the distance from the bracket holes to the top and bottom of the TV to determine the center mounting p osition. Measure from the floor up, and make small marks on the wall to help you determine the desired TV height.

22 DRILL PILOT HOLES Follow directions on the Installation T emplate (IT) carefully . Carefully drill four holes using a 5/16" (or 8mm) masonry drill bit in the “A”, “B”, "C", and "D" locations noted on the Installation T emplate.

24 WP T INSTALL THE WALL PLATE (WP) After you have prepared the holes for mounting the W all Plate (WP), place the W all Plate over the holes and screw in the Lag Bolts (T) about half way . Use a le vel to ma ke sur e the W al l Plat e is leve l and mak e any ne ces sar y adju stme nts .
WP EC 25 INSTALL THE DECORATIVE END COVERS (EC) Line up the two peg inserts on the back of each End Cover (EC) with the two holes at the ends of the W all Plate (WP), and press into place. Each End Cover is marked with a "L" (for Left side) or "R" (for Right side).
26 PREPARE THE MONITOR ARMS (MA) Before you attempt to attach the TV to the W all Plate (WP), make sure the Monitor Arms (MA) are parallel to the television (in the 0-degree position). This position is indicated by the center marking on the arms as shown.
MA MA 27 PREPARE THE SECURITY SCREWS A djust the Security Screws (L) in the Monitor Arms (MA) so that they do not interfere with installation onto the Wall Plate (WP). Make sure the Security Screws do not extend past the top edge of the bottom mounting bracket of the Monitor Arm as shown.
MOUNT THE TELEVISION W ith the help of an assis tant, lift the television and guide the Monitor Arms (MA) onto the W all Plate (WP) as shown. Afte r the televis ion with the Monit or Arms is attache d to the W all Plat e, lock the Arms int o plac e to preve nt remova l of the televi sion .
MA WP 29 MAKE SURE BOTH MONITOR ARMS (MA) ARMS ARE ENGAGED ON BOTH THE TOP AND BOTTOM RAILS OF THE WALL PLA TE (WP)! S'ASSURER QUE LES DEUX BRAS DE MONITEUR (MA) SONT ENGAGÉS À LA FOIS SUR LES RAILS SUPÉRIEUR ET INFÉRIEUR DE LA PLAQUE MURALE (WP).
30 USING THE TILTING ARM FEATURE Once the television with the Monitor Arms (MA) is securely locked on the W all Plate (WP), you can safely a djust the tilt feature on the Arms. The Arms can tilt from -5° back to +15° forward, depending on your optimum viewin g position .
