5 Incorrect A ssembly: Correct A ssembly : Ensure cu rtains or other objects a re not obstru cting the air inlet filters. (Fi g 3) Do not bend o r crush the exhaust hose while in use.

7 INSTALLATION When y ou use this air conditioner unit , hot air must be ex hausted out o f the room to complete the air ex change o f the conde nser . W hen the unit is operatin g in fan-only mode, no exhaust is required. Exhaust hose Instal lation The exhaust hose must be installed onto t he unit.
8 Windo w Ins talla tion 1. Make sure the exha ust hose is properly installed onto the portable air conditioner. 2. Open wi ndow or sliding door for approximately 5” ( 130 mm) 3. Adjust t he len gth of the window kit to t he same length and width of t he opening of the window or t he sliding door.
9 CONTROL PANEL Indicator Light: Stan dby mode LED (red). 1: Power – Turns the unit o n and off. 2: Mo de Control – Controls the 4 f unction modes: Cooling, Automatic, Fan only & Dehumidification. 3: Fan Sp eed Control – Controls the 3 fan speeds: High, Medium, Low .
10 OPERATIONS SWITCHING ON THE A IR CONDITIO NER The portable air conditioner can be switched on by the remote control or by pressing the Power button on the control panel. To transmit si gnals fro m the remote contr ol to the air conditioner , point the front part o f the remot e handset towards the con trol pane l on the air cond itioner.

12 SWITCHING ON/OFF TH E AIR CONDITIONER The appliance can be sw itched ON or OFF by pressing the P ower button (1) on the control pa nel or the Pow er button (B1) on the r emote control. FA N O NLY MODE In this mode, only the fan of the air conditioner runs and ci rculates the air in the room.
13 A UTOM A TIC MODE In this mode, the air con ditioner is set to run at th e optimum comfort te mperature. When the Automatic (comfort) mode is select ed, the cooling function stops when the temperature is below 73°F.

15 TRANSPORTATION The air condi tioner is equipp ed with w heels and handles for easy por tability. Before moving the air conditioner, proceed as fo llows: Switch off the air conditio ner and discon nect the p lug from the power ou tlet Drain w ater by removing the d rain plug.
16 DR A INI NG THE A IR CONDITI ONER AL W AYS sw itch off t he a ir conditioner and disconne ct the plug from the power supply outlet before cleaning the air conditioner . Position a fla t container or dish under the drain h ole. Do not a llow the water to drip continuously into the containe r, as it might easily overflow .
