16 2 Getting Started 2.1 Ins erting SD Card 1. Insert an SD card and make sure facing the touching face downward. Note: Do not re move or insert SD cards when the pow er of the Digital Video Ca mera is on to avoid damaging files.
17 2.2 Loadi ng Batteries Please use only batteries pro vided or recommended by the manufacturer or dealer. This package is supplied with a l ithium battery. AA batteries are optional. Note: Insert bat teries correctly a ccording to this de scription.
18 2. Insert batteries according to the illustration. * Important: 1. Please use the supplied lithiu m battery when using the infrared function. The infrared fun ction can not be supported by using AA batteries.

Safety instructions In order for Li-ion batteries to ge t optimum performance it is highly recommended to charge the battery for at least 8 hours on first use or after storage o f more than 3 months.

Press the Zoom Button Right (T) t o pull in the distance of the s ub ject, or Left (W) to move aw ay the distance from the ob ject. Macro button Macro function allow s you to shoot image of an object at very close distance.

30 4 Using the Camera 4.1 Shooting a Movie Clip 1. DV mode is the default setting after you power on the Digital Video Camera. 2. Press the Recording button to start or stop movie recording. 3. The Digit al V ideo Ca mera w ill store the Movie clip automatically.

65 6.3.8 Continu ous Shot You can continuously shoot three pictures using this function. To start, press and hold the Shut ter Button. The function will end automatically after three picture s are taken. 1. Turn on the Digital Video Ca mera and make sure it is in the DSC Mode.

If the CD is not executed automatically, please use Windows File Manager to ex ecute the Insta ll_CD.exe file in the CD. The follow ing screen will be display ed. 3.
