Fi nish inst alling the rest of the software, then close all open windows and reboot your comput er.

T o ins tall the software: 1. Start Microsoft Windows and mak e sure that no other applications are running.
X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 24 5. On the Main menu, select Install softwar e . 6. Mak e sure the boxes f or Scanner Driv er and Visioneer One T ouch are select ed, as well as any other applications you want to install. 7. Click Install now .
X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 25 Inst alling the Scanner Driv er The scanner driver installation will start f irst. 1. The W elcome to the Xerox Setup Wizard opens. 2. Click Next . 3. On the X erox License Agreement window, read the li cense agreement.
X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 26 C onnect the USB Cable The scanner does not have an ext ernal power supply. It dr aws its power directly f rom the computer through the USB cable. If you use a USB hub with your comput er, the hub must hav e its own power su pply.
X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 27 3. The calibration utility opens. F ollow the inst ructions on screen f or calibrating the scanner. 4. Place the cali bration pa ge in the sc anner in the direc tion printed on the page. The bl ack strip shoul d be fa c e down .

Click OK to complete the installation process. 9. Click Close on the Installation Complete window to close and exit t he driv er installer.

If Create single image files is not selected, image tr ansf er occurs after all pages hav e been scanned.
X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 50 • Click the down arrow and selected a tok en value f rom the list, then click the arrow button to ad d that value to the f ile name f i eld. The token values are: {FN}—inserts the scanner name. {#b}—inserts the im age number without adding ze ro (1).

X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 53 P age Settings T ab The options on the P age Settings tab will be a vailab le ba sed on either the selected color mode (Black & White, Graysc ale, or Color), or based on whether o r not the scanner hardware supports the f eature.
X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 54 • Inv ert image — only available f or Black&White Mode, this option reverses the black and whites of an image. • Skip blank originals —select this option to hav e the scanner dete ct if a blank page has been f ed through the scanner, and remove it f rom the fi nal f ile.
X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 55 Advanced Settings T ab Use the Advanced Se ttings tab to set color correcti on option s f or Color or Grayscale sc anning. Drag the sliders to the left and right to change the col or settings. As you do, th e image changes to show the eff ects of the new settings.
X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 56 Enable redaction —select thi s option to enabl e redactio n when scanning. Y ou might use this option if you want to remove a logo or image that appears on each page that you are scanning. Y ou can choose what color to f ill in the redacted area in the scanned image, and set multiple ar eas.

X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 59 Right-click on the BMP icon to access the GIF and PNG imag e f ormats. When you select ei ther of these f o rmats, the f ormat panel will change the BMP icon to the selected image f ormat icon. Right-click on the JPG icon to access the JP2 image f ormat .

X erox T ra vel Scanner 150 User’s Guide 100 Scanning to Multiple Destinations Scanning to multiple dest inations works the same as wh en scanning to a single de stination, One T ouch simply distributes t he fi nal scan t o several destinations. T his option is enabled separately f or each One T ouch button.
