7 English 5 Sound Field Program Selector Buttons Select the program “ DIGIT AL ”, “ DIGIT AL ENHANCED” or “DIGIT AL MO VIE THEA TER” b y pressing the corresponding button.
8 Setting Up Y our Speaker System This unit has been designed to provide the best sound field quality with a fiv e-speaker system setup , using one pair of main speakers f or main and front effect sound reproduction, one pair of surround speakers f or rear effect and surround sounds and one center speaker f or dialog.

12 CONNECTING T O THE AMPLIFIER OR RECEIVER F or connections with the amplifier or receiver , use the included connection cords. Make sure that y ou hav e the left (L) and right (R) channels correctly connected. That means that jacks mark ed “L ” on this unit must be connected to jac ks mar k ed “L ” on the other unit.

17 English Adjusting the output le vel balance among all the channels are v er y impor tant to maximize the perf or mance of y our system including this unit. This unit lets you adjust the sound output le vel balance among the left main, center , r ight main, right surround and left surround channels using the built-in test tone gener ator .

The realization of a highly efficient decoding process improv es crosstalk and channel separation and makes sound positioning smoother and more precise.
25 English TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM Power does not come on. Hum. No sound. No sound from the center speaker. Poor bass reproduction. Sound output level to the center speaker is lower than other speakers. Sound output level to either or both of the rear surround speakers is lower than other speakers.
