IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 5 Installing the IMX644 USB Driver (Windows Vista users) 1 Power-off the IMX644. 2 Use a USB cable to connect the IMX644 to your computer. The “Found New Hardware” screen will appear. NOTE • Make the USB connection directly to your computer without going through a USB hub.

IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 7 This section explains how to uninstall IMX644 Manager and the IMX644 USB Driver. The uninstallation procedure differs between Windows Vista and Windows XP. Windows Vista users 1 Choose [Start] → ([Settings]) → [Control Panel] → [Program and Features] to access the “Uninstall or change a program” screen.
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 8 NOTE • In order for the IMX644 and your computer to be connected online, you must connect the IMX644 to your computer and then power-on the IMX644 while holding down its MEMORY [D] button (IMX644 Manager mode). Use either a USB cable or an RS-232C cable to make this connection.
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 9 2 [File Transfer] button This button loads a file of settings and sends it to the IMX644. If you click this when the [Status] indicator is “Online,” the “Password” dialog box will appear. Enter the assigned password for the IMX644 and click the [OK] button; the File Load dialog box will appear.
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 10 Here you can edit parameters and save parameter settings to a file. • Header area 1 [Return to start window.] button Click this to return to the starting screen. A confirmation dialog box will appear; click [Yes] if you want to save your settings.
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 11 • Parameter editing area Here you can use mouse operations to visually edit the various parameters. The screen that is shown will depend on the tab that’s selected. • Screen switching tabs 1 [BLOCK] tab Opens the BLOCK screen ( page 12 ).
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 12 This shows a block diagram of the entire signal route from input to output, and allows you to make parameter settings. By click ing the buttons in the BLOCK screen, you can open parameter editing dialog boxes or move to other edit screens.
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 13 4 [EQ] button This button opens the “INPUT EQ” dialog box, where you can edit the EQ (equalizer) that is provided on each input channel. Click the [CLOSE] button to close the dialog box. “INPUT EQ” dialog box The editable parameters differ between MONO INPUT channels and STEREO INPUT channels.
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 14 5 [LEVEL] button This opens the “LEVEL” dialog box, allowing you to adjust the volume of the input/output channels. 6 [MATRIX] button Opens the MATRIX screen ( page 17 ). Here you can specify the output channels to which the input channel signals are sent.

IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 18 Here you can edit parameters other than EQ for output channels 1–4. 1 Output level meter/indicator Output level meters Shows level meters for the output signals of OUTPUT channels 1 and 2. Output indicators Shows [-2 dBFS]/[-44 dBFS] indicators for the output signals of OUTPUT channels 3 and 4.
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 19 Here you can edit the parameters of the 6-band equalizers provided for OUTPUT channels 1 through 4. 1 CHANNEL Use this to select the OUTPUT channel whose EQ you want to edit. 2 [A&B]/[A]/[B] buttons If OUTPUT channel 1 or 2 is selected, you can choose whether to edit channels A and B together or individually.
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 20 7 EQ response curve This indicates the frequency response of the current EQ settings. This is an approximate curve for your reference. The markers ( ) indicate the parameter values for each band. The color of the markers corresponds to the band number (1–6) shown below.

IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 22 4 [STEREO 1]–[STEREO 4] check boxes These turn on/off the Music Override function for each STEREO INPUT channel. These check boxes are linked with the [OVERRIDE] buttons of the INPUT screen. The default setting is OFF for all channels.
IMX644 Manager Owner’s Manual 23 • MEMORY Assign Of the sixteen memories specified in the MEMORY screen, any four can be assigned to the front panel MEMORY [A]–[D] buttons. When you click the name shown beside each button [A]–[D], a list of the assignable memories will appear.
