8 T uning Use a tuning meter , pitch pipe, tuning f ork, piano , etc., and tune the open str ings to the pitches shown belo w . • If the string ’ s pitch is high, loosen the string until the string ’ s pitch is slightly lower than the tuning pitch, then tune while raising the string ’ s pitch.
9 Power Supply The Silent Guitar operates either on battery power or with an A C adaptor howe ver , it will consume more pow er when the rev erb function is in use. For that reason, w e recommend that it be po wered with the supplied AC pow er adaptor for normal use.
10 Using the Contr ols ■ Using the LINE OUT jack (Using with a guitar amplifier or powered speaker , etc.) 1. Use a standard phone plug cable to connect the Silent Guitar’ s LINE OUT jack to the input jack on the guitar amplifier or po wered speaker , etc.
11 When putting the Silent Guitar into the supplied soft case , remove the left fr ame from the Silent Guitar , and then place in the individual par ts in the case as sho wn in the illustration belo w . • Put the left frame into the case ’ s larger poc ket.

13 ■ A UX IN jac k • The A UX IN jack can be used to connect an external stereo signal source to the Silent Guitar . Connecting the audio output of a CD player , cassette player, etc . to the instrument allo ws you to play along with the external audio source.
