Such contacts damage the cable and r ender the control s inoperative. • Secure the cable to th e lower left handle nea r the base of the uni t with a cable tie from grou p 3 of the hardwar e pack.

11 Using Y our Lawn Mow er WARN ING: Never operate you r unit wit hout either the rear defl ector or entire grass ca tcher ass embly in pl ace. • Make sur e that lawn is clear of stones, stick s, wire, or other objec ts which could dam age lawn mower and/or ca use personal injury.

When tippi ng the unit, empty th e fuel tank and keep engine spa rk plug side up.
13 SECTION 8: OFF-SEASON STORAGE The follo wing steps should be taken to prepare la wn mower fo r storage. • Clean an d lubricate mowe r thoroughly as described in the lu brication inst ructions. • Refer to eng ine manual for corr ect engine storage instruc tions.
